<6 months later>
After Rip disbanded the Legends, we all went our separate ways. I went with Sara, who is currently working her shift at Sinks, Showers, and Stuff. I sat patiently on top of my cat tower, waiting for her to come home.
Bang The door opened roughly, and the sounds of kissing and moaning became more audible as Sara and a tall, attractive raven-haired woman entered, not stopping their smooching as they headed straight to Sara's bedroom.
I hopped down from my tower and slinked over to my bed, muttering to myself,
This is going to be a looong night.
I folded my ears under my paws, trying to block out the noise.

The morning came, and I was woken up by the smell of sizzling bacon. Wha—how? Sara can't cook. We've been surviving solely off takeout for the last few months.
I rose from my bed and padded into the kitchen, where I saw the raven-haired woman from last night cooking. She looked over at me and smiled. "Hello, little one."
Meow, I responded, walking up to her and allowing her to pet me. Her touch was gentle and kind, and I found myself purring softly.
Sara came down the stairs, looking refreshed. "Morning, babe. Smells good."
"Good morning to you as well, beloved," the woman replied warmly.
"Tama, meet Nyssa. Nyssa, meet Tama," Sara introduced us both.
"Hello," I greeted cheerfully, extending my paw to her. I recognized her from the pictures Sara used to stare at all the time.
Nyssa chuckled, "Of course your feline talks. Ta'er al Safer, life is never uninteresting with you." She took my paw and gave it a firm shake. Nyssa then passed me a plate of food, which I devoured eagerly.
"Sara, I approve." I mumbled as I finished my food.
Sara chuckled and turned to Nyssa, who smiled warmly at me. "I'm glad you like it, Tama."
Leaving the lovebirds to talk, I decided to step out and go on my daily run.

I shook myself to get rid of some dirt before stepping back into the apartment. "...Come with me, Nyssa," I heard Sara say. I stayed out of the room and let them finish their conversation. Nyssa took Sara's hand in her own.
"Sara, we have faced death and separation together countless times. Life should not be so cruel to take us away from each other. I will not let that happen once more, my beloved. I swear it."
I wiped the single tear that fell from my eye. Damn, these humans made me soft. "You can come in now, Tama," Sara called out.
"You knew I was there the whole time, didn't you?" I said, stepping in. They both nodded. "Sooo, does this mean Nyssa is coming with us?"
"Yes, but first, we gotta get the gang back togeth-" Sara's phone ringing interrupted her.
"Boss," Mick's voice crackled through the speaker.
"Rory?" Sara replied.
"I got a situation. I think I bumped into one of those mechanisms..." Mick said.
"Mechanisms?" Sara asked, confused.
"Anaganisms..." Mick attempted.
"Anachronisms?" Sara clarified.
