Time travel is real and all of history is vulnerable to the attack which is why we meowst travel through time to stop the spread of these so-called time aberrations and erase their damage to history. We are a team of outcasts and meowsfits, So please don't call us heroes. We're something else, we're Legends.

"What's going on?" Mick grumbled, grumpy, that his mid day drinking had been interrupted.

"Lily's algorithm located a piece of the spear of destiny" Sara informed him.

"When? I mean, I know just now, but where and when are we headed?" Ray asked

"Detroit, the year 3000 A.D." Gideon answered him.

"Journey into the distant future, how exciting" The professor exclaimed.

"Speak for yourself." Nate chimed as he entered the bridge, "Come on, man, who doesn't like the future," Jax said.

"I like history. Yeah I know it's filled with terror and violence, but the future is just..." "It's uncertain?" The professor asked, "Yeah and it freaks me out a little" The historian said.

Sara shook her head, pulling the lever on the console and time jumped us into the future.

Peace did not last long however, as Nate and Amaya started arguing as soon as we landed in the year 3000.

"And I'm just saying' shut up! Nate, you'll stay on the ship, the rest of us will go find the spear" Sara interrupted their bickering.

"Unfortunately the medallion is no longer sensing the presence of the spear fragment" Gideon informed the team.

"So we came here for nothing?" Ray huffed.

"Maybe not, Gideon, do they have booze in the year 3000?" Mick asked Gideon.

"Better yet Gideon, do you have the last position of the fragment?" Sara said.
_____

The fragment's last coordinates led us into an abandoned warehouse located in the outskirts of a city. We walked into the warehouse, entering a dark room, alert and tense.

"Somebody find a light switch or something," Sara ordered. Jax flipped a switch that looked similar to the one we have in the present. "Yeah I guess there's not many places you can go with a light switch" He shrugged.

While everybody looked around the futuristic room, my nose twitched as I scented the distinctive smell of blood. I tugged at Sara's jeans, leading her to the body. "Amaya." Sara called Amaya over, Amaya's expression cycled through recognition and then distraught.

"Charles" She whispered, a name presumably one that belonged to the dead man.

"This is Dr. Midnite of the justice society." She explained

"What's a member of the JSA doing this far into the future?" The professor wondered, "Rest in peace," Mick read out, "That's sweet Mick," Amaya said.

"No, it's what he wrote on the floor, R.I.P" Mick pointed to the ground.
"That's not 'rest in peace'" Jax said, " It's the name of Dr. Midnite's killer" Sara continued.

Oh! I knew I recognized the stick from somewhere!

I left the group as soon as I stepped into the waverider. Quickly running over to the library, rummaging through the stacks of paper that Nate pulled out for this research. I rummaged through the pile of books for a while before finding the book I wanted, grabbing it in my muzzle.

I ran to the bridge, walking in just as Gideon informed them of the next spear piece. I dropped the book into Sara's hands, she looked at it for a moment before speaking up, "By any chance does it have something to do with Camelot, Gideon?"
