     [First Sight]

RRRINNGGG RRINNGGG

"Ughhh.." I groaned. It's a new week, the day I get to return to school. I stood up, checked myself in the mirror before heading downstairs. "Hello, morning zombie." I told myself, then quickly ran downstairs for breakfast. "Finally you've woken up early. You're so lazy during the break." My little brother, Yan, teased me. I scoffed at him. "Shut up, it's called a break for a reason you know." That's Yan for you. The unfunny brother who's favorite hobby was to annoy his sister.

"Xiaohua! Don't forget your toothbrush!" My mother yelled. It was finally time to get back into the dorms. Gosh, I'm really gonna miss everyone.

I walked through the doors and picked up the keys to my dorm. I kinda missed this place. (even though it had only been 2 months.) I slowly walked through the halls, tracing my finger in between the cracks in the brick walls. "It hasn't changed at all." I mumbled to myself.

I finally found myself at the dorm. I unlocked the door and started unpacking. Albums and books on the shelf, clothes in the closet, bed made. All done in around 12 minutes. I plopped onto my bed and scrolled through my phone. "[Seventeen Weverse] Seungkwan🌟 created a new post!" I clicked on the notification, and it showed a picture of Seungkwan at a beach. Seventeen was (and still is) my favorite k-pop group. My ult. They helped me escape reality and just, I finally felt free.

The door suddenly unlocked. My face grew into a smile as I sat up, still on my bed. A short girl walked in. "Hi, I'm your roommate." I said with a smile. She nervously smiled back while struggling. I guess her suitcase got caught on something. "I'll help you." I offered. She kind of looked young, but at the same time, she kind of looked my age. I guess that was for me to find out.

She began unpacking her things while I listened to music. I would have loved to help her, but she insisted on doing it on her own. "My name is Cheng Liang Wei." she stated while making her bed.

     "Oh, I'm Li Xiaohua."

Yep, that's me, Li Xiaohua. Although nobody asked, my name means "little flower" and I think it's pretty cute.

But, my name also has another meaning.. And I wouldn't say it's very cute nor pretty.

     "Joke"

That's what the kids called me back in elementary. Good thing I moved to a different city in middle school, or I might not have been able to handle it.

"Are you a freshman?," I asked, "i've never seen you before." It had been 30 minutes, she was halfway finished. "Mhm, I'm studying computer science." She said while laying on her bed. "I see, I'm a junior studying studio arts. It's pretty fun," I replied, "are you sure you don't need help unpacking?" I asked for the 100th time. "Yes~ I should practice doing things on my own. I've been depending on my mom for a while." she said, looking down at her phone when a notification popped up. She smiled at it. I guessed it was her mom? "Sorry, I need to call someone, see you." Liang Wei said and then headed out the door.

I also decided to leave and get a snack outside because, well me being me, I was hungry. I walked to my favorite cafe nearby and grabbed a drink. The cafe is usually empty and I was never planning on showing anyone the place. It's not very popular so whenever I go there, I can have the place to myself. I can play songs on the speakers and dance and the workers don't really care. It's like my getaway place.

At last, I finally left the cafe. It was 5:51. "Oh! It's almost time!" I told myself. Ever heard of the song "Blue Hour" by TXT? If so, then you would know that the time 5:53 is special. I sat at a park and waited for the time to come. The sunset was nice, if only I had someone to watch it with.
