     [Heartache]

     I sat at the kitchen table, my mom and dad across from me. "Xiaohua, you should be studying right now!!" Mom scolded me. Dad tried to calm her down. "What did you need to talk to us about?" he asked calmly. I looked at him sincerely.

     "I was given an offer to work abroad as a makeup artist."

My mom stood up in anger, but my dad kept her calm.

     "Where, where will you be working?" My mom said, keeping her tone down.

"Korea. I would be working for a big company, Pledis Entertainment."

     "I don't want you to go." Yan said.

I glared at him. "Well, it's not your decision to make." I replied, clenching my teeth.

     "Hm. This could be a good opportunity." My dad agreed.

"I don't know." My mom replied, unsure about the situation.

     We sat there for about 10 minutes, but nobody said anything. I fidgeted in my seat, hoping that my mom would say yes.

     "Fine. Do whatever you want."

     I jumped out of my seat and hugged her. "Thank you, Ma!!!!!" We had lunch together, and Yan kept trying to convince my parents to make me stay here.

     "Xiaohua, don't make us regret this." My mom told me as I walked out. "I won't."

As soon as I left, I immediately texted Jun.

     I clicked on the link and answered all the questions. Some of the questions asked for my experience. Unfortunately, I don't have any. Good luck, Xiaohua.

     I unlocked the door, Shancai was on my bed. "Hm? What're you doing here?" I asked her. "I had a fight with my roommate. She somehow got jealous of something that I didn't even do." Shancai pouted and tossed another chip into her mouth. I laughed at her. "Where is Liang Wei?" I questioned, looking at her empty bed. "I don't know." Shancai shrugged.

     I finally told Shancai that my parents agreed to let me work in Korea. Shancai squealed and hugged me. "WOOOO!!! Does that mean you can get me free tickets to their concerts??!" She yelled ecstatically. I flicked her head. "Is that all you care about?" Shancai laughed. "Of course not~~" The door suddenly crashed open, me and Shancai got startled and hugged each other tightly. Honestly, I bet she's my real soulmate.

     Liang Wei walked in. "You scared me!!!" Shancai yelled. A snicker came from behind her. "Oh? You have company?" I asked. "Mhmm~" Liang Wei responded. Jun and Dokyeom walked in. "We brought food~" Dokyeom said in Korean while holding out a bag. "I have a long way to go. I don't even know how to speak Korean." I complained at Shancai. "It's fine, we can teach you!" Jun said happily. Liang Wei sat there confused. "Why do you need to learn Korean?" she asked. "My best friend, Xiaohua, is going to work for Pledis~!" Shancai squealed. Gosh, I have a headache from her. We don't even know if I got accepted yet. Jun translated everything for Dokyeom. "He says that he hopes you two can become best friends one day." Jun said while pointing at Dokyeom. "Hah, maybe."

     I opened a bag of noodles and ate it dry while walking out of the dorm. "I'm gonna go get something from the vending machine, I'll be right back." I told them. "Oh, I'll come with you." Jun offered. No. Stay. Or else my clueless heart will fall in love with you without knowing.
