[정말 미안해]
I reviewed all the designs I created, my favorite one being a hoodie with a floral embroidered design on it. I sent the pictures to the tailor, feedback would be given later. Next, the large package of paper contracts that I needed to sign. I groaned. "Need any help?" Seonghee asked. I sighed while picking up one of the papers. This will take a while~
"I'll treat you to some sweet and sour chicken after." Seonghee said while rolling back to her desk. I gasped while scribbling on the papers faster than ever. Anything for food.
My hand began writing sloppily, and I was only half-way finished. I stood up, stretched my back. "Xiaohua, you should see a chiro for that." Seonghee said while making a cringing face. "I know." I walked back and forth in the office, trying to soften my bones. "Take a break." Seonghee suggested. I don't think so. I should start getting used to a large load of work since this is my first actual, professional job. I sat back down in my seat. "The faster I get this done, the faster I can get that chicken." I rolled up my sleeves, cracked my knuckles. Seonghee wowed at my motivation, even though I was complaining to her only a few papers ago. Heh.
One more paper, my hands felt like they were going to fall off. I scribbled my signature down lazily, not even bothering to read the documents. "Hua!" Liang Wei yelled, bursting into the office. "Just one more paper." She handed me it, waiting for the signature. I groaned while scratching down my signature with the almost empty ink pen. "There you go." I passed her the paper and banged my head down on the desk. Now I actually have one more paper left. Congrats, Xiaohua.
"Let's gooo!" Seonghee exclaimed, watching me sign the last paper. I plopped my back onto my chair, finally finished. "Only took you 4 hours." she teased. I stood up, about a thousand popping noises came from my back. "Ew, Xiaohua, why are your bones like that? ;_;" She cringed, pulling my hand as we walked out of the building. "I know the best place to get food."
We walked into a cute restaurant, which kind of looked like a cafe. "I'll go order, find us a seat." Seonghee told me while walking near the counter. I nodded, picked a booth next to one of the windows. The sky looks nice today. I told myself. I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture.
"The food should be coming in a bit." Seonghee said while sitting down. I twisted a chunk of my hair around my finger while looking out the window. Seonghee was watching something on her phone.
"Here's your food. Please enjoy." The waiter placed the food on the table and then walked back to the counter. I quickly dug in. "I see you have a big appetite, Xiaohua. Don't you have something to say?" Seonghee said while getting ready to eat. "Oh, right. Thank you for the food~" I said in muffles, still chewing on my food. Seonghee laughed at me, I rolled my eyes. So what? I'm hungry.
——
I leaned back on the seat, my stomach was pleased. "I'm full." Seonghee said while stretching her arms a bit. "Same here. We should get going." I told her while I stood up. Burp~ I burst into laughter after burping while Seonghee did too. "Sorryyy~" I said between giggles.
We arrived back, but didn't go back to the office. Seonghee brutally forced me to walk with her around the building. "You're overworking yourself! Just walk with me for a bit." Seonghee insisted. I groaned while she dragged me around.
"Xiaohua! Seonghee!" I heard a familiar voice yell. "Mingyu!" Seonghee shouted back. I remember her telling me that she was his makeup artist. "Come listen to our rap." He said while opening the door for us. We sat down on the floor, and the familiar sweaty smell returned. I guess they were also practicing the dance. Wonwoo played a beat on the speakers as they began to rap. It definitely suits the song they were dancing to in my apartment. I'm excited for their comeback.
Seonghee and I clapped ecstatically as they ended the rap. "My ears have been blessed." Seonghee pretended to faint on me. I rolled my eyes at her. "It was really, really, good." I gave them a thumbs up while pushing Seonghee up. How dramatic. "You guys should see the full performance!" Seungcheol suggested while helping us off the floor. "Let's go to the Performance room."
We made it to their room where Liang Wei was practicing a dance with Minghao. "We're here to show them the dance." Vernon said while pointing at us, Seonghee and Xiaohua. Hoshi nodded while taking a sip of water. "Go call the others."
Dino speeded into the room with the Vocal team. Seonghee playfully hit me. "We're the first to get to see and hear a song for their comeback!!" I squealed with her as we sat down on the floor, Liang Wei also took a seat next to us. "I'm gonna dance a duet with Minghao for his next single." Liang Wei squealed. A duet with Minghao. How lucky. "Waa, your job is so cool, Liang Wei. Me and Xiaohua are just makeup artists." Seonghee frowned. I elbowed her in the stomach. "Hey! I love my job! Are you saying that you don't want yours?" I questioned her. She quickly shook her head. The music suddenly started playing at a loud volume, startling us. "SORRY!" Dino yelled while turning the volume down. He quickly ran into his position while the others stood in theirs. "It feels like I'm in an actual concert!" Seonghee whispered to me. "Minus the lightsticks." I added, not realizing that I was twirling my hair again.
One of the lyrics stuck out to me. "I'm really sorry." That's one of the lines Jun sang, very short, but very meaningful. I'm really sorry.
