2.2

     [Makeup]

     I sat in my office, my head was empty. I had no ideas on what I should draw for the first clothing design. I scrolled through Pinterest looking for some inspo when Minghao walked in. "Hi~" Minghao said while grabbing a chair and sitting next to me. "Hii." I said, my eyes still focused on the computer in front of me. "Are you working on the designs?" He asked. "Mhm, but I have no ideas." I replied while frowning. "What about this?" Minghao said, grabbing a pencil and sketching on my notebook. He started sketching some sort of jacket with lots of floral designs. "Woah." I said while watching him sketch. He's a good artist.

     "Is this okay?" Minghao asked while pointing at the drawing. I nodded enthusiastically. He smiled and left the room. Darn.

     Soon enough, I was back in my apartment. I tried to make the apartment feel a little more like home by decorating it with things I bought from the store earlier.

     Knock knock~

     I looked through the tiny hole in the door and saw Jun and a few others. Hm? Why are they here? I opened the door and Jun, Hoshi, Joshua, Jeonghan, and Seungcheol walked in.

     "We brought dinner." Joshua said while smiling. He placed the food on the table I had in the living room. "Let's eat."

     "Can you do my makeup?" Seungcheol asked me. "Of course!" I said ecstatically. I had just bought some new supplies and a little vanity thing, so I was excited to try them out. He sat down on the chair while I began. Joshua stood next to me, watching as I did what I do. (but not what I do best.)

     "Woah~" Joshua said, amazed. I just finished putting on the highlighter, which is honestly my favorite part. Seungcheol smiled as he looked into the mirror. "You said you didn't have any experience? I don't believe you." Jeonghan said while watching from the couch. "I really don't," I replied with a chuckle, "I learned how to do it from makeup videos and things like that." I said while finishing the look with some lip gloss. "I told you guys she was good." Jun said in a proud manner. I saw he was twisting something around his finger. Is that- The ring I got him? I can't believe he actually still wears it. "Wow." Seungcheol said while looking in the mirror. I'm finally proud of myself.

     I sat on the couch as I watched them practice the dance they were getting ready for the comeback. "Xiaohua! You should dance with us!" Hoshi said while pulling me off from the couch. "Mm... I don't think so~" I said while attempting to pull away. "Yes you should!" Jeonghan added, "You can do Minghao's part." I whimpered as I stood up. "I'm not good." I said while standing in the place they told me to. Jeonghan attempted to teach me dance. "Xiaohua~~ How can you do so well dancing 'Home' but-" Hoshi stopped his sentence before it could get any worse. "It's because I practiced that about a billion times before I could finally get it right." I told him while plopping back onto the couch. "It's a waste of time to try and teach me." Jeonghan frowned and then continued to practice. "It's okay, Xiaohua, I can teach you in my free time." Joshua said while drinking some water. I smiled at that.

     We sat on the couch and watched a movie while eating some chips. I sat next to Joshua and we engaged in some small talk. "Hm, you like anime?" he said while pointing at my phone case. I chuckled, "Yeah, my favorite is My Hero Academia." Joshua's eyes widened. "Really? That's mine too~!" He replied ecstatically. I really hope I can be good friends with him someday.

     Soon, they left, leaving me in the apartment alone. It's my first night, so it's natural to be scared, right? I sat on my bed while working on a clothing piece on my laptop. It was the jacket Minghao sketched earlier. I was adding a few finished touches, getting ready to send it to the tailor.

     KNOCK KNOCK

     Aggressive bangs came from the door, making my soul fly out of my body. I tiptoed to the door and peeked through the little hole. "Minghao?" I whispered underneath my breath. I carefully opened the door, Minghao crashed in angrily. "What took you so long?" He yelled while walking toward me, and in the blink of an eye, he was in front of me. My back against the wall, our faces inches apart, and his arms, trapping me as if I were in a cage. I recalled the scene that happened 3 months ago. "What do you mean?" I said, confused. "I've been knocking on your door for about 10 minutes now!" Oh. I guess I didn't hear. He quickly realized his position and pulled away. "Sorry about that." He apologized. I looked at him in confusion and fear. He saw it too. "I'm sorry," he said, "How about I make us dinner to celebrate this awkward reunion." I frowned while looking at the ground. "I already had it with Jun and a few others." His comforting smile turned into a serious face. "Oh."

     We sat down on the couch and played a game. It started as awkward silence, but soon we added some small talk. "Darn you!" I said while playfully hitting his arm. "You're so bad at the game!" he said while laughing at me. "Ahhh.. I'm hungry." I said while walking near the kitchen. "Let's eat something."

hehe this is a REALLY SUPER short chapter. i set myself a goal for around 1300 words/chapter buh this one is literally like 800 words smhhhh
