The light rain spitted upon his grave, with the small girl hugging her knees to her chest next to it. No tears this time. Just a bare smile as she traced her finger along his name.

LI YANAN

2011-2022

A loving brother, friend, and son. Never to be forgotten.

She patted her eyes with her sleeves, standing up and making her way out of the cemetery. His luck would surely be enough for her to win today.

And suddenly, they were in the cafe. The cafe that started it all.

"One latte and one milk tea please."

"One orange juice and one coffee please."

The three sat on the table, waiting for the last short one to arrive.

"Finally! My shift is done." The small girl threw her apron to the side, taking a seat at the booth.

Xiaohua took a sip out of her latte. "Congrats, Cai. Right in time for our competition."

Minghao slid the orange juice bottle over to her. "I got you some juice. At least one of you should get into the top three."

Xiaohua stuck out her lower lip, in which Jun wrapped his arm around her. "Don't you think that's a bit pressuring, Hao?"

They let out a chuckle before taking another sip out of their drinks.

Xiaohua looked down to her watch, in which she smiled. "It's time for us to go."

"Really?! I haven't even sat down for a minute yet." Shancai complained, clinging onto Minghao to prevent leaving.

Xiaohua grabbed her arm, dragging her out of the cafe.

"Wait!"

She turned around, looking at the two boys who gathered up their belongings. "We're coming with you."

Xiaohua lifted up her hand, allowing the raindrops to fall onto the palm of her hand.

The other two were taking Minghao's car to the competition, Xiaohua and Jun decided to walk and get some fresh air.

The two interlocked fingers, walking side-by-side on the sidewalk.

Jun switched to the outskirts, saying that if a car crashed into them, then she would be less injured.

"Xiaohua!" Jun called, which somewhat startled her.

"Gods, Jun. I'm right next to you, so you don't need to yell." She patted her heart to exaggerate it.

Jun rolled his eyes. "I'll give you a prize."

Her eyebrows furrowed. "A prize for what?"

He let out a smile, looking down to his shoes. "If you win this art competition, then I'll give you it."

Excitement suddenly hit her. She jumped up excitedly, hitting his arm playfully. "What is it?!"

"Oh, c'mon, Xiaohua. It's a secret." He teased her.

She pouted, rolling her eyes in defeat.

Xiaohua put on her apron, rolling up her sleeves.
