[A friend.]
3:06 am. A pen strangled between my teeth, my hair tied up in a high ponytail. I've had about thirty cups of coffee by now.
RINGGG RINGGG~
My phone buzzed, I groaned in annoyance. "One second, phone. I'm- almost- done-" Unfortunately, the phone buzzing seemed to get louder, making my ears hurt even more. Darn.
"Hello?"
"Hua! Open the door."
It was Jun. The door creaked open, with me, a slouchy, tired girl behind it. Jun seemed stunned to see me.
"Meiling?!" He questioned in a loud tone, his eyes widening at the sight of me. "What?" I gave him the same expression. Oh shit, he thinks I'm Meiling! I quickly pulled down my hair. Jun stepped a bit closer to me, in which I took a step back. Think, Xiaohua! Do I lie or deny?
"Oh, I thought you were my friend for a second." He scratched his nape while walking into the living room. Phew. Good thing I didn't lie again. I could've made this a hundred times worse.
Jun held a plastic bag in his hand, making me give him a confused expression. "What's that?" I pointed at the bag. He held it up with a smile. "This? Since you've been working so hard, I've decided to bring you some snacks." I cupped my face with my hands and then dragged him into my room.
Jun asked to see some of the clothing pieces, in which I willingly agreed. I showed a few of the dresses I made for fromis_9 and After School, and some of the hoodies and jackets I created. I guess he liked them, seeing as he gasped at the sight of them. I'm touched.
"Hua," Jun said with a serious voice while leaning on my shoulder. "Hm?" My eyes were fixed on the laptop in front of me. "Liang Wei says that the protein bar you gave Vernon has peanuts."
"It doesn't!" I got up, shocked that he believed her. "Oh-" I grabbed his hand, dragging him into my kitchen and pulling out one of the bars. "See? It doesn't have it!" I shouted in anger while handing it to Jun.
He turned to me and gave it back, not even taking one look. "If you say it doesn't have it, I believe you." Why is he so sweet? His soft voice suddenly calmed me down. Gosh.
"But you shouldn't always believe things that Liang Wei says. She's not as innocent as we may think." I elaborated while we walked back to my room.
"What do you mean?" Jun questioned.
"I'm just telling you the truth. And she's your ex! Who stays friends with their ex?" I had a bit of suspicion in my voice.
He stayed quiet for a bit, I think he was collecting his thoughts.
"Are you," He let out a smirk, "jealous?"
"Hey, as if!" I yelled, hitting his back lightly.
He smoothly pulled me down onto the bed with him on top. "It's cute." Those were his last words before creating another make-out session. My heart fluttered like crazy, but this time, I didn't hate it. I'm head over heels for him.

5:03. I woke up on the bed, but it felt a little bigger than before. I turned to the side. Jun left, which is probably why I'm feeling a little emptier now. Darn.
I got ready, skipping breakfast again. I'll just eat something in the snack room.
I forgot to mention that I got a new car. I already had a license but never really decided to get an actual car. That was before Jun suggested it. We just didn't use it yesterday because it would take longer to start and we didn't have any time for that.
