I ditched my towel and got up to go outside while drying on the way with my flames. A loud sizzling sound filled the house with my hair steaming. I made sure the temperature wouldn't set off the fire alarms.

I told mom I was going to the terrace to get some air since I was cooped up inside the entire time. She said to be careful before I went out. As soon as I got outside I flew up directly to the terrace and landed there. I found Hawks standing there and waiting.

I kept the flames on since it was kinda cold.

"What happened? I could get no news about what happened with you guys, it was all kept very secretive. I myself couldn't access any of those files from the HPSC. And you didn't even answer my calls or text messages for two whole days?!" He looked almost frantic as he caught my shoulders and asked questions while also shaking me back and forth.

I was a bit startled from the sudden onslaught, he really seemed quite worried.

But first, I put a hand on his, "Hey Hey, wait a second, I'm fine really, I was just unconscious those two days and woke up in the afternoon... and-"

"Did you hit your head?"

"huh no-"

"Or did you use your quirk so much? How did you use so much of your quirk, didn't you improve your limits already? Did you get hurt anywhere else? I'm pretty sure I taught you enough to be able to face at least one villain, maybe I wasn't-" he worried like such a mama bird.

"When did I have two moms all of a sudden?" I asked with an amused and surprised smile. I lowered my head and closed my eyes with a smile and pulled his hands down.

"It's not funny nugget" he frowned in a slight pout.

I might have looked calm on the outside but I was holding my laughter in with everything in me. I couldn't mock him like that for worrying about me. I felt lighter for a moment.

I explained the main reason I fainted, "The healing process and my exhaustion had me sleep for one and a half days, that's all. There's no need to worry so much" I said smiling and then turning serious, "Although, I couldn't really fight that much, I was literally a burden to everyone and Izu got hurt so much. He's still unconscious. Oh! And I found out who was following me. I'll tell you all about it in detail, let's just sit somewhere it's a long story."

Hawks nodded with a small smile as he looked down at me.

Though he was only a few inches taller than me...

We ended up sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall. My legs were spread in front of me as Hawks had one of his legs bent. I had my flames around us for some warmth and told him everything from the start to finish. It was like we sat at the side of a warm brazier during a cold winter. I guess it really was a blowing snowstorm outside the window. We were only taking a shelter for a moment before we have to step into the chaos again.

At times like these I kinda felt like a messenger bird but it's fine. He helps train me with almost nothing in return, the least I could do was a little story telling about my encounters with villains.

Of course I hid everything about our plans for tomorrow.

"Dabi huh? Well that's one big creep. And you say you've never seen him before?"

"Nope, thankfully it was just a clone, and he had underestimated me too so I could finish him with one proper blow. Either he still thinks that I don't know about him or if he knew himself well, he must suspect that I know it's him. I don't understand, is it because of my quirk? It's so creepy, and what are the odds of him being from the league" I was hugging my knees that I drew closer into myself and shuddered, but not from the cold. Were there other times he was watching me and I didn't notice? I was so horrified and trembled at the thought.
