Katsuki suddenly shouted and ran toward Izu activating his quirk, "DEKU YOU BAST-"

"KATSUKI NO!!" I shouted at the same time. I was bracing myself for this when I knew Izu was gonna use his quirk but I was too slow to react.

Mr. Aizawa used his quirk to cancel Katsuki's and wrapped his scarves around him immediately. He tried to get out of his grasp but couldn't. "what- why the hell is your damn scarf so strong!"

"Because it's a capture weapon made by carbon fiber and a special metal alloy. Stand down. It will be wise to avoid making me use my quirk so much, it gives me serious dry eye"

'TOO BAD, THAT QUIRK IS AMAZING!'

"You're wasting my time now, whoever's next can step up" Mr. Aizawa released Katsuki and deactivated his quirk. Izu warily moved around Katsuki and walked back to the group. I was about to run up to him to ask him if his finger's alright but Ururaka was on the job.

I look around and saw Katsuki. He was in a really bad mood, clenching his fists in anger and a shadow on his face. He glared at Izu who was talking to Ururaka and then turned to look at me. I was just staring back blankly, my body stiff in surprise but he immediately looked away and walked off.

I wish I could do something about this. Izu doesn't realize it just yet, but Katsuki must be feeling betrayed or cheated since Izu suddenly had a quirk when he never did before. Not that we would tell him voluntarily after everything he's done to us. But it was a feeling nonetheless

If I tried to talk to him I would have to explain how Izu got his quirk which I can't and then I would have nothing to say that would actually help him. Besides, he'll definitely make it all up in his head that I'm trying to show off about my marks in the entrance exam.

After that we did side steps, distance run, seated toe touch, and sit-ups.

Hawks' work out schedule's really hard. I do sit-ups almost every day for 5 mins straight which is at least 170 reps so it wasn't much hard work. Seated toe touch was also pretty easy since I was flexible.

I had joined Mina and Kirishima for the sit-ups since there was an odd number of people and I didn't want to intrude on Izu and Ururaka.

I complimented Krishima's red hair but Mina made fun of him by revealing the truth about its original color. They knew each other from middle school. He was embarrassed about the truth but I still found that pretty cool and said the same out loud. Dyeing hair for some people required courage. It might come from various things or it could just be because they liked doing it.

Maybe it wouldn't be too bad, blue on my green hair to match my flames...

Distance run was good too, I used my quirk once again on my back, elbows and calves. It made me feel as light as air as I sped through the field effortlessly. There were some flames on my feet to aid my run and to cushion my feet. On that note, my sports uniform was fireproof which was amazing and well thought out by whoever decided to make them so. I thought I would have had to pay extra attention to them while training.

The results were shown at the end and I placed 3rd!

I kept looking for Izu's name till I found it... at the end of the list?!!!

My heart dropped for a second until, "And I was lying, no one is going home, that was just a rational deception..."

I can't believe he had the nerve to grin at us!!

He was too serious about it though. Great acting, how could anyone not believe him?

I didn't know whether he changed his mind because he found potential in Izu or whether he was actually telling the truth. Guess it will always remain a mystery.
