A/N. These are one of those times I seriously just want to switch it to Hawks x OC, but that's not possible of course. From the very beginning Hawks was supposed to be a brother figure T.T

Around the estimated time for the teachers to arrive, mom and Izu starting panicking more if possible.

Normally we wouldn't have known who is coming but All Might told Izu that he'd be coming with Mr. Aizawa today. So mom's incredibly nervous to receive a teacher, and Izu because All Might was visiting our home for the first time.

I'll admit, who wouldn't be nervous about it, but Mom and Izu were on such a completely different level that it toned down my own worries while trying to calm down them instead.

"P-please come in!" Mom said sweating all over. Izu was as stiff as a rock. I had an awkward smile behind them. Everything was fine, mom agreed yesterday so all they need to do was talk a bit and we're done.

"Excuse me" All Might said, he was the only one who came.

Both turned around like robots with trembling white eyes. I could tell exactly what they were both thinking, mom spoke out, "A-A-A-All Might is in our home!"

"Mom, calm down!" Izu said taking a step forward in sync with mom.

"I think both of you should calm down" I said for the 76th time, following them.

Mom served snacks and tea for All Might and all of us sat down. All Might was on one side and the three of us on the other. Izu had pulled a chair to sit outside the table on my right.

"Yes, I believe we have already sent notice of this, but I'm here to talk about U.A's dorm system..." All Might started.

"Yes, about that... I'm against it" mom said looking up with her fists on the table.

Me and Izu jerked our heads up at that.

"Mom?!"

"You said it was okay yesterday!"

She interrupted immediately, "I thought about it! But I don't like it! Izuku's quirk never appeared, but he still admired you for so long. But since his quirk miraculously appeared, ever since he entered U.A, Izuku, he just keeps getting more and more beat up, Rin too even if not as much. Did you know about Izuku's arms? If he injures them any more, he might lose his ability to move them! I watched your fight the other day on TV, as a regular citizen, I am very thankful. But as a parent, I was scared. Izuku looks up to you, if his path leads to a future filled with blood like that, then I... I... I... I feel like maybe staying quirkless and happily watching heroes work would have made them happier. I couldn't help it." Mom said looking down.

Izu stood up immediately, "Mom!"

"Izuku, I told you that I would support you but that I wouldn't stop worrying right? You want to go to U.A, right? Rin, you've finally found what you want to do, something that's independent of Izuku. But.. I'm sorry, Izuku, Rin." She said looking up with determined eyes, even though she was trembling and tears lined her eyes, she was set on her decision.

This was bound to happen one day, I knew that but it was starting to get difficult. No matter how much she was weak to tears, when it came to us, she was a strong mother who raised two kids all on her own without her husband.

No, I had to convince her somehow. Not after everything we've gone through, and everyone we've met who believe in us and helped us, we can't let all that go to waste, I can't let them go.

"I will speak frankly. As Izuku and Rin's mother, I don't have the nerves of steel I'd need to entrust my son to U.A as it is now." She said tears falling from her eyes, "it does not matter how wonderful of a hero you are. When villains attacked, you couldn't continue classes, and you couldn't stop the students from getting seriously injured. I don't want to let my son attend a school like that any longer. I..."
