A/N. Now doesn't she just look f'in badass replacing a ton of that cute vibe. If anyone can do it, it's her😎
. . .
"WOW THAT WAS A QUICK MATCH! SHIOZAKI DIDN'T EVEN STAAND A CHANCE! QUITE LITERALLY THROWN OUT BY THE HAIR!" Present Mic exclaimed.
I finished it fast. That was the only way when you don't know the other person's skill level.
Considering her skill, she could have also made a thick cage of vines all around her, flew up from the centre and then aimed her vines to immobilise me but I hadn't given her the time since I also attacked immediately. Even then I don't think she would've won.
I went over to her, "I'm sorry, I hope I didn't burn all your hair, I didn't get to say this before but I thought you're really beautiful and pure like a goddess of salvation." I smiled sweetly, holding out a hand to her for her to stand up.
"Thank you for your compliment but I'm really not like that, I have a long way to go to cleanse myself of all sins and truly be able to deliver salvation. My hair can grow back instantly, do not feel sad." She said compassionately and demonstrated it going back to normal. "It's only my redemption for my past sin of thievery from the little human. I couldn't do anything with the opportunity I've been given." She turned around and said sadly in a lone spotlight and small tears lining her eyes "Your flames are beautiful like the flames of redemption sent to deliver justice and true salvation. I'm thankful to you for teaching me a lesson, I will never forget it. "
Wait what is she saying? Flames of.. redemption? Sent to.. deliver justice? True salvation? Sin of thievery? Teaching a lesson? Me?
She might be pure but kinda hard to figure out... I know how ironic that sounds too.
I smiled nervously not knowing how to reply, "Thank you..?"
"You're welcome" she nodded, turned around and went away with her head held high. I was impressed by her attitude as well. I turned around to go to the exit to head back to the stands.
Just as I arrived averyone practically jumped on me,
"That was so amazing Rin! Congrats on winning! Tank of flamess! It's such a cool move!" Ura said punching with her hands like she was sending some flames.
"That was a great strategy Rin! You didn't let her vines even touch the ground and finished it before she could react! What was the temperature of your flames this time? Do you know the minimum temperature that was necessary to burn those vines? The speed and rate of your dragon breath increased too since the last time I saw you use it! You could've also tried close combat but why didn't you?" Izu asked speedily.
"Thanks! It was 800, I haven't tested at what minimum temperature it can burn but at 800 it can happen instantly. I noticed that during the cavalry battle when she used her vines on us. And I trained my quirk with the birds. I don't know how skilled she is, it's better to use a plan that'll almost 100 percent work. " I answered every question of his.
"It's amazing how you got all that Rin" Tsu commented.
I just smiled with a shrug in response.
I came and sat down right next to Izu.
The next match was Iida's and Hatsume's. She played around with him for 15 minutes, advertising her awesome inventions.
Although I don't think I should be finding any amazement in Iida's frustration, I couldn't help but find it a bit hilarious.
"THIS IS WEIRD"
"SHE'S TURNING THE FESTIVAL INTO ONE BIG COMMERCIAL"
I have no idea how he didn't understand her true intentions and so um honorably aided her and believed she just wanted to play fair.
