"Wh- uh- I- HEEEEHHH???!!!!!!!!" I shouted stuttering for a few moments.

What was this?! Such heights of quirk strength!!! This was unimaginable and he was just my age!!

"I-Is this what you meant by you can't keep up?" I said in a higher octave.

"You said you could keep up and that you will" he said plainly but the words were mocking.

I turned my head sharply to look at him at that, slightly offended.

His right side that was closer was frosted in ice and fuming with condensed moisture, he let out a frosty breath too.

"How do you have such quirk strength? It's not easy to achieve, especially with you freezing over like that! But then you could melt it with your fire, it's a perfect combination but I mean you seem to be generating ice from your body, not converting the moisture in air to ice, that's impossible. I usually get headaches or faint when I use too much pyrokinesis or a sore throat because of dragon breath, do you get tired? No that's not what I should be thinking right now, I should melt this huge mass of ice!" I shouted at the end.

'She's too similar to Midoriya' Todoroki thought sweatdropping while I was worrying about melting the ice with only my flames.

I can't change the temperature of my flames to increase it after it comes out of my mouth so I'll have to breathe seriously hot flames and a lot of them.

I smirked, "All right, I wanted a challenge so I'll do it!" I looked at him on the side, "I said can keep up and I will didn't I?"

He simply returned the look with a straight face.

I gathered the flames from my mouth into a large mass and increased the temperature as I breathed them out, aiming to break my record from the USJ.

When the ball of flames reached a certain huge size, I dispersed them to circulate around the large mass of ice while breathing out more.

The heat had melted the frost on the boy standing beside me who watched me with observing eyes and unaffected by the heat of the flames.

I increased the temperature going 810 degrees that was my highest and tried to push further. My throat was heating up already and started to burn a little but I didn't stop. The front and wherever the ice was close to the flames, it was melting.

The flames surrounded the ice in a tornado as I added more flames, I needed a lot more to surround the entire mountain.

It was getting harder to get more flames out while controlling the existing, but I persisted. The rate of melting ice increased with more flames. After I felt like I could not go on making any more flames I focused on circulating the flames around the ice at faster speeds making it almost look like a huge pillar.

The speed would increase the rate of melting due to its kinetic energy. The air around got really heated as the flames continued raging in blue and green and got sucked in due to the vacuum.

Mine and Todoroki's hairs were flapping in the pressure circulating wind.

My head started throbbing with the increased concentration, amount and duration of using the flames. The mountain of ice melted a lot faster than it it did at the start since the outer layer melted and the heat transferred inside. It was basic law of physics, besides the flames were as hot as 810 degrees Celsius while the boiling point of water itself was 100 degrees. The water wasn't just melting, it evaporated.

The air around grew more humid and both me and Todoroki were sweating with our clothes additionally sticking to our bodies.

When it was done, I dissipated the flames immediately.
