I immediately raised a hand in denial, "It's only among boys, I have no intention to join, don't drag me in"

Mina mumbled something like what about the other girls, with a pout and feeling slightly offended. Jirou and Ura with an awkward smile would say its because of this weird rivalry he has with me and Izu. Mina knew that but still.

"Well you can't force her if she doesn't want to" Iida said.

Katsuki growled in anger and a small red aura was around him again, "You're just afraid that you'd lose!! Come and fight you wimpy coward!!"

Coward?

I really want to get in a race with him and show him who's the loser but I don't wanna bother, "I only came to the pool with the girls for fun. I have no intention of being serious" I shrugged but my tone said not to insist again. I looked him in the eye not budging in my decision.

He gritted his teeth, eyes all whites in anger and then turned his head away with a "tch!"

Yaomomo made a whistle and stood on the referee stool. The first group stood on their marks.

"Who do you think will win?" Mina asked excitedly.

"Let's all root for someone!" Toru suggested.

"Well obviously, I go for Izu" I said in a heartbeat.

"Of course, but that isn't fair. How about every race?"

"Oh um well then... in this race... of course..." I turned to the line up. My eyes fell on one person and immediately turned away, nah, even if I die I would never, "it would be Tokoyami"

"You guys did your internship together right? Must be a given" Tsu said.

"Then, on your marks.." Yaomomo started.

Us girls cheered and the guys focused.

"get set... *whistle*!"

All of them jumped into the water, and even being in water didn't stop Katsuki from using his quirk. He landed with his legs folded in front of him, hands pointed directly behind him. The blasts from them made him blast forward while practically sitting on the water. "explosive speed water turbo!!" he shouted and then with one preprepared blast into the water that splashed all around, he jumped up on the other side pointing at the others with a victorious smirk, "How was that you extras!!"

I laughed slightly, remembering the same replica smile from when he was a kid. It never changes for him, and it was nice to see it again. Someone's warming up.

But.... "Hey stop calling us extras just because you won!!" Sero shouted pointing at Katsuki.

Somethings never change.

"Whoa that was innovative!" -Kirishima.

Tokoyami came next with Dark shadow as a pulley, then Kaminari, Koda and Mineta.

"He could've used his electricity" Jirou said.

"I don't think harming other members is ok Jirou..." Ura said with an awkward smile, scratching her temple.

"Oh so you rooted for Kaminari?" I smirked and Mina smirked along with me.

"No I didn't! It was Koda! I just thought Kaminari would use it!" Jirou shouted, turning away and her jacks flying up in protest. I bet she's blushing lightly at least.

In the next match,... going along with the girls, I guess if I had to choose it probably would be Todoroki. I mean he would definitely win, but Sero might be a tough competition.

As expected Todoroki won by simply pushing forward with ice that built under his feet on the water floor.

Yaomomo clapped, "but of course Todoroki won!"
