After moving into the small apartment Nathalie felt rather bad for the bodyguard.

Now he had to share a tiny living space with a woman who he'd barely talked to, in addition the assistant occupied the living room so the whole apartment looked chaotic.

But Gorilla still remained super friendly and nice towards Nathalie who had no clue why he hasn't kicked her out already.
In fact, what shocked her the most was that the bodyguard even tried to bribe Gabriel into giving her job back, but the stubborn designer didn't want any sound of his 'old' assistant.

Apparently he'd found someone better, more helpful, and effective. But the things that Gorilla told Nathalie were the exact opposite.

"She's so mean!" The tall man shook his head with a disgusted face "Today I was just minding my own business when she told me to get out of the house because I don't belong there."
"Oh-"
"Pathetic! Gabriel really lost his best employee, you."

Nathalie smiled feeling honored:

"That's nice of you to say but I'm sure his cold heartless personality was longing for someone like her."
"So a bitch?" Gorilla scoffed "Excuse me I don't usually like to call people names but she really deserves no respect!"

Now the bodyguard stood up frustrated and walked into his own kitchen. Then there Gorilla grabbed two glass cups with delicate designs, also a tall bottle which was made out of glass just like the cups, and then he asked:

"Whiskey?"
"Me? No-no-no I don't drink. Only wine or champagne but that's also solely when I went to an event with Gabriel, otherwise no alcohol for me."
"Oh." He poured himself a glass "I thought for a second that you were going to say you're underaged." Gorilla chuckled "I got scared."
"Come on, I'm not that young! I just act immature."
"You don't." He reassured whilst having a sip of that alcoholic beverage "You act pretty mature for a 22 year old."
"H-how'd you know my age-"
"It's in your job application file or whatever. I saw it the other day in the bin because Mr Agreste got 'a bit' angry as I mentioned that without you everything is much worse."
"Oh...great...so he hates me?"
"Well." Gorilla thought for a moment "I think he just can't accept the fact that he knows he made a mistake with kicking you out."
"Don't say that! I get it that we're sort of friends and you're trying to lift up my mood but be honest!"
"Deadly honestly Nathalie?"
"Deadly honest! Don't sugarcoat anything, just give me the truth."
"Fine" he laughed placing the glass into the sink now as he'd chugged all of the whiskey

"Then I'll tell you that for the 20 years I've worked there you were a really good employee! Maybe not the best but that's only because you started rather young and as you said naive! But you surely could develop into the best! I mean you're kind, nice, and most importantly organized! You get the job done no matter what, even if it means hurting yourself by being someone else."

Nathalie gasped, he couldn't have possibly known about her being Mayura, but then again the bodyguard was always around even when no one thought of him, so maybe one day he accidentally saw the young woman talking to her kwami friend or transforming into the peacock villain.

Either way the assistant's secret identity was revealed.

"You know? About me being-"
"Mayura? Yeah I know."
"B-but-"
"Please, you're constantly tired after Gabriel has asked you for a 'favor', so if the 'favor' isn't you sleeping with him then it must be something else sketchy. And well...I may or may not have listened into a bit of your villain arguments, but I still couldn't figure out why he is Hawk Moth..."

Nathalie gasped again. The bodyguard knew absolutely everything, and even before she could've had a word in Gorilla continued:

"...does he want wold domination? Because I know Mr Agreste is power hungry but that much?...damn..."
"No-no-no I mean-...I can't really tell you anything because this is supposed to be a secret...but it already isn't," she sighed "Please don't tell anyone, he would kill me if someone else finds out. It's already bad enough that you know"
"Oh I won't, don't worry" he laughed "I mean I have no friends to gossip to, plus, who am I to expose your secret, that's simply mean."
"Thank you so much." Nathalie smiled in relief as she knew that she could trust Gorilla even though he might've seen a little bit strange at first, but now the young assistant realized that the bodyguard was more than 'normal', in fact, he was very helpful and kind.
But before the man himself could've also smiled back at his 'old' co-worker a knock at the door was heard.

"Money!!!!" The mysterious intruder shouted making Gorilla roll his eyes annoyed before he went to see who it was.
"Who is it-oh not you again."
"Money! Now!" The landlord spat whilst tapping his crusty shoes against the floor which not only made a terrible sound but it also caused a lot of dust to come up from the dirty old carpets. Therefore within a couple of seconds both men began coughing uncontrollably whilst Nathalie observed all of this from the couch.

She saw how whilst her work partner went to grab his wallet the man at the door admired her, the new person who was living in his apartment complex.

"Who's she?" Kevin asked as he waited for the bodyguard's return, and when he got back Gorilla shared a look with Nathalie before replying to the man:
"Friend."
"Great, so does your 'friend' know that she also needs to pay!"
"Stop it Kevin! She's doesn't live here!"

But the landlord didn't stop, in fact he pushed Gorilla aside and walked into the apartment without hesitation. Then he stopped before crashing into the young woman who was now awkwardly looking up at the reddish brown haired man.

"You!" He spat "I saw you moving your stuff into this house, so pay up!"
"I-...Mr I have no current job or money-"
"-A! Typical excuse! And that won't get you out of this situation...however..." Kevin was about to smirk at the assistant but before he could do so the bodyguard grabbed him and quite literally threw him out of the apartment.
"Leave. Her. OUT. Of. This!"
"But she-"

The landlord couldn't even finish his sentence as the door slammed in his face and now Kevin was shut out.

-

"Sorry:" Gorilla shook his head "That guy is simply so pathetic that he'll do ANYTHING for money. I'm surprised that he hasn't started selling his organs yet."
"Really?" Nathalie laughed "He just seemed a bit arrogant to me."
"Yea that too, he has too many issues I can't even count them all, anyways, would you like something to eat or drink for dinner?"

Nathalie shook her head:

"No thank you."
"Are you sure? I haven't seen you eat the whole day."
"Yeah no, I don't feel like it."
The assistant replied thinking that this would fix things and make her friend stop worrying but it didn't, in fact, he just got more worried as he sat beside her and looked upon the tired expression of the assistant.
"Nathalie." He used her name making the woman instantly look up in shock "Is this also about Gabriel?"
"What?! No-no-no of course not!" She laughed before realizing that Gorilla wasn't at all buying her lies, and so then she sighed in a disappointed manner "It is, you're right. But I just can't stop thinking about him, it feels as if he would've infected my mind, you know?"
"I know. But that shouldn't be making you feel as if you need to change yourself for him to love you. Because that's simply stupid!"
"I-...true...he won't take me back anyway, right?" Nathalie asked with tears quickly forming in her eyes, and before she knew it they all streamed down her face "I've messed up too much."
"No, no you didn't. It was him. He lost his best worker. He lost his trusted assistant, and most importantly he lost his partner in crime."
