The Artemis Daughter

Chapter 13

I saw demigods and some girls who looked different from demigods were fighting against some strange creatures. There is she. I saw a her, Artemis! She didn't look like a god but I recognized her. she looked as a tall, well-built teen girl. She has a shoulder-length raven-black hair and striking silver-grey eyes. She was angry, her eyes said it. She's really a beauty. My heart started to beat fast. She was fighting against the monsters while leading the team of girls who look different from the demigods. I think they are the hunters. I guessed.

Then, I saw something look familiar. "Chimera!!!" I groaned. Chimera is a fire-breathing resembling a lion in the forepart, a goat in the middle and a dragon behind. She was in the middle of the monster army.

"Nico! I need some lead!" I had to shout as it was so loud because of the fights. "What? Why do you need lead?" Nico asked while ordering some skeleton soldiers who raised up from the ground. I showed him the Chimera who was blowing fire towards some demigods. The demigods didn't hurt as they jumped away from there.

"I know how to kill that Chimera. But I need a lead for it" I shouted. He grabbed my hand and shadow travelled near to Hazel. What's going on with him? "Hazel! Vany needs a lead to kill that weird animal. Please give her it." Hazel bend to the ground and concerned to the ground. Nico killed the Scythian Dracaena who tried to attack Hazel.

I felt so bored as Nico didn't let me to fight. This is unfair! I came here to fight not to stare at the others. A big piece of lead popped out of the ground. Wow! That's cool. "Here's the lead you wanted Vany." Hazel handed me the lead that popped out of the ground.

Another Dracaena tried to attack us so, Hazel turned around to fight against it. "Gotta go lady" Hazel whistled and a horse came towards us. It ran too fast. "Arion, say hi to Vany. Bye bye... I have to chop those fuckers!" I looked at Nico. He was busy with fighting and it took him away from me. He went away while fighting! I put the piece of lead into one of my pockets that were in my short.

Something crazy came into my mind. Well, I didn't leave him... he's the one left me while fighting. I ran to a rack filled with weapons. I took a bow and few arrows. While I run toward the fighting place, I looked for a rope. I was lucky as I found it without taking lots of time. The lead Hazel gave me was in my pocket. My hand ran into the pocket to take it out.

Well, my cloths weren't like what others were wearing. I'm surprise why they didn't laugh at me. You must remember that Nico was going to take me to shopping to buy some human world cloths. The cloths I was wearing is suitable for a warrior. Well, I'm glad that I was wearing as it helped me to move quickly. If I explain you my cloths, I was wearing a black colour short and a dark grey sports bra. There was a leg belt on my right thigh. Another belt of my left arm.

I wore something different from it on the day I woke up but Persephone gave me something which look a little bit alike it. Maybe she thinks that I only can wear clothes like that. Anyway, I'm glad because I'm wearing something like that as it's really comfort me to move fast.

I tied the lead in an arrow head. I tightened the other arrows under my thigh belt. Suddenly, another kind of weird creatures came to the camp but they couldn't enter the camp site. I think there is a safety ring around the camp. Those creatures wasn't someone came from the Greek history or they are someone who lived after I died. Well, I have to kill that bloody Chimera. I ran into the fight with the bow and arrows with the special arrow that I tied a led at the point.

I saw Percy went away from that bloody Chimera. He mustknow who she is but must be not know how to defeat it. I ran towards theChimera. Percy blocked my way before I get there.
