The Artemis Daughter

Chapter 19

"I want you to introduce my daughter... Vany" Artemis looked at me and squeezed my hand with love. "What?! Daughter?" everyone whispered. Dionysus came near me and looked all over me. "Ya Vany!!! It's really you. I wasn't able to recognize you as it's been over three thousand years!"

I suddenly burst into laugh. Finally, he called my real name without those strange and weird names. "Why are you laughing?" Dionysus looked at me weirdly. "Nah... it's nothing." I said while controlling my laugh. I looked around. The demigods who were in that room and the hunters looked at me in amazement.

I stopped laughing and my face took a serious look. "Actually, I have to tell you all something and I'm not here for a happy talking too. It's about the prophecy. It's about me. I'm the moon's moon, the daughter of Artemis." I said in a normal way. I saw hunters were mentally hurt by it. I remembered what Hades said. I felt pity for them. I was hidden from the history and I suddenly appeared again they must don't believe me.

"Mom... can you go back to Olympus... I have something to tell Olympians. Tell them that Gaia and Cronos will return again and that day will be come quickly. Tell them to get ready for a war. This will be hard more than the before ones as they've already damaged our security by attacking several times" I asked and Artemis agreed me. She went outside after ordering hunters to protect me and not to leave me.

I turned to hunters. "I know you don't believe me that I'm the daughter of Artemis... but you should help me to stand against Gaia and her brats."

"Well... it's a big shock us to hear that Artemis has a daughter but she already said that you're her daughter. We believe her. Don't worry... we'll help you. We won't let Artemis down." Thalia pats my shoulder. "Thank you, Thalia," I smiled at her. She was surprised. "Did I tell my name to you?" I smiled. "No... I heard your name when my mom called you before."

"Anyway... you're my niece then." Thalia has a pretty smile. "What?" I'm her niece... is she going something wrong? "Don't be surprised... I'm a daughter of Zeus, your grandpa" she laughed at my confused face. "Well... in that case, you're my cousin sister too... so, just call me Vany to stay away from mess ups" I confused her for confusing me.

I smirked. "Don't be confused. I'm not only Artemis's daughter. My dad is Poseidon, your uncle." Percy ran towards me. "What the heck you're talking about? You said your dad is Poseidon? Huh... first you said you're the daughter of Artemis and now says that your father is Poseidon...! If you're a daughter of Poseidon, why didn't he tell about it to me?" I see Percy don't believe me at all.

"Just ignore it brother. I also don't want to believe that my father got married with another lady and had babies!" the anger got into my nerves. "Yah! I'm not a son of Amphitrite. My mom is Sally Jackson. Not that dolphin lady!" he said angrily. What? My dad had kids with several women? It hurts me a lot. This can't be happened! My dad loved mom a lot. He got married with Amphitrite because my mom started to hate men. No! this can't be happened! He's lying! My anger was increasing every second. I knew something bad will happened with my anger.

"Nico! I want to talk with Chiron! Please take me to him. There are so many important things I have to discuss with him." I turned to Nico while controlling my anger. "Ya! You took Nico as your servant now? He's not a servant!" Percy said making me angrier. The big house started to shake a little. I knew it was because of my anger. 'Calm down Vany... your anger will hurt someone.' I said to me. But I wasn't able to control it.

I left the big house as I don't want to destroy it.Nico followed me behind. "You don't have to follow me. Sorry if I treat youlike a servant." Thalia came to me. "Stop following me! I don't want anyone totake a wrong idea of me. I can do anything all alone. Try to survive when Gaiawoke up again!" I said before I mixed with the darkness. I shadow travelled bymyself.

Sorry, my dear demigods if this chapter isn't something you expected. Vany and Percy argued in here... Actually, it's a bad sign right? What if Vany help Gaia??? In the prophecy, it tells that Vany can decide rise or fall of Olympus!

What will you do if Vany join Gaia? Will you blame her for joining Gaia and betraying her own people or blame Percy for arguing for nothing?
