Chapter 39

I turned around to see the face which I excepted. I was right! It was the person which I expected. "Holy Hera!" I cursed under my breath. Well, I don't know why campers say so, but I've also gone along with it.

It was Gaia who was making my mom's cabin dusty. "YA! Don't spill your dust here. I hate dust as much I hate you! It's making me sneeze!" I yelled at Gaia. I hate sneezing because when start to sneeze, I can't stop sneezing until my throat tastes bloody.

"Well, don't ask for something that can't be done," Gaia said rudely. "Anyway, I don't care about the dust anymore now. Just tell me what brought you here, in this time and you must know that I hate to see your bullhead too!" I said looking away.

"Can't I just see my beloved great-granddaughter's face?" her words made me laugh. "Me? Your beloved great-granddaughter? Are you kidding me? If I'm your beloved great-granddaughter... just take your ass out of all the troubles you've created." I scoffed.

Gaia laughed and I got goosebumps as it's a thrilling voice she got. "You should join me and save your life and your lover's life."

"If you came here to tell me those few words, you're wasting your time and my time too. Just get fuck off from here. I don't wanna see you and don't come to my sight!" I saw a dagger under the bed which was next to me. One of the Stoll twins must drop it here. I acted fast. I took it and threw the dagger to Gaia and made her into dust again. Eww... dust! I hate them and now, they are all over Artemis cabin.

Gaia knows Jungkook was Alex. I have to save him. He's in danger. This is not a good sign. He doesn't even have the powers he had when he was Alex. I can't drag him into danger anymore.

I ran to the big house to meet Chiron while covering my injuries back. I wanted some advice from him. I know he's younger than me. It's just from the age. I was sleeping more than three thousand years and he wasn't like that. He has gone through a lot and is an experienced person.

I saw Chiron was talking with someone. It must be Dionysus maybe. "Chiron, I need to have a talk with you. This is an emergency" I called him as he didn't notice that I'm there.

"Yes Vany, what do you want to talk about?" he was being polite to me after Artemis spelt that I'm hers and Poseidon's daughter. I hate when people do so. Alas, I'm not a god now due to the night poison. Well, in that case, no one noticed that I don't have golden ichor anymore. It means that I can die as a mortal at any time. It doesn't mean that I don't have godly powers. I have godly powers but am not an immortal.

"Just talk with me casually, Chiron. I hate when people try to be polite in front of me. I'm here to tell you that Jungkook is in danger. Gaia is going to harm him. Promise me that you'll save him!" I looked at him. He bit his bottom lip and looked behind at the person to who he was talking before.

Then I realize it was Jungkook whom Chiron talking with a moment ago. Jungkook stepped in front of me and stared at me. "What are you talking? I'm in danger?" he asked in an unreliable tone. He was hearing everything...! You're such a careless person Vany... why aren't you careful about your surrounding? I cursed myself under my breath.

"You just don't need to know about it. Only be safe every moment. Stay away from troubles and don't bother me" I said peacefully but my blood was boiling and I was angry at myself for not being careful.

"I wanna know what is the reason for that dirty queen to harm me? There must be a reason for it, right?" he asked rudely. He had a smirk on his face and he's still unstoppable as he was Alex. It made me one kind of happy. He still has Alex's qualities.

"You wanna know, right!? Okay, alright! I'll tell you" I faked a wave of anger. I wasn't angry at him as I'm used to living with him before a long ago. Even it's before a long time ago, it doesn't a long time away for me as I was sleeping in all those years.

"You were there when I defeated Gaia and she knows about it too!" I didn't lie to him but it's not the truth too. "If I was there, it means I still can join with Vany and help her to defeat Gaia again! Please Chiron...! Lemme join with her..." Jungkook was making a cute face. Aww... it's so cute and melted my heart but I can't let him join with me.

"NO!" I said quickly. "You can't join me. You won'thelp me by joining me. I didn't want to tell you this... but now I think it'sbetter for you to know this..."
