The Artemis Daughter

Chapter 15

They are my real parents, Artemis and Poseidon!

I regained consciousness. I and Artemis was making an eye contact. Her eyes filled with tears and she came to me running. But... but an arrow came and piercing her chest. All the hunters came and made a curve around her and protected her.

I fell on my knees as I felt that arrow has pierced me too. I looked at Artemis again. She was looking at me too. Her eyes were filled with tears. It showed happiness, anger and pain too. The war over us ended after Percy made a flood, Leo fired the monsters, Nico and Hazel made the monsters swallowed by the earth and all the demi gods used their full power and killing or expelling those bloody creatures. Suddenly Nico came and took me away by shadow travelling. I closed my eyes and let the darkness take me away. When I open my eyes again, I was in the middle of Hades's courtroom, on Nico's hands.

Hades came to us running. I felt my eyes were also filling with tears. So, my real parents are Artemis and Poseidon. Hades is my uncle... I remembered he always took me over the underworld and he played with me. Persephone also always played with me.

When I died, Hades had given my life back to me by breaking his own rules. He even took care of my unconscious body over three thousand years too. He became a father to me for either ten days too. He became a father to me more than an uncle.

I struggled and jumped down from Nico's hands and ran toward Hades. I hugged him and feel the warmth of him. I think he was confused by my action but he hugged me back. I saw Hades signaling Nico, who was staring us in confuse to join us. He came near us and Hades dragged him to us and hugged him too.

"Oh, my lovely two kids" he tightened the hug but I pushed him and whipped my tears which near to fell down. "It's enough uncle... I already recalled my family members. I know my parents are Artemis and Poseidon" I hugged him back "Thank you uncle for caring of me"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait!" Nico looked surprise over flowing. We stopped hugging and looked at him while smiling. "You mean..." Nico pointed at me "...she's a daughter of Artemis? And Poseidon?"

"Not a daughter... she's the only child of Artemis and a child of Poseidon." Hades corrected him. "Well... uncle... I still have a question... why did I die? I don't remember how I died." I looked at Hades's serious face.

"But... how it can be happened? If Vany is a daughter of two gods... she must be an immortal too" Nico said while thinking. Hades sighed. "There's nothing I can do with hiding it from you two. But remember to hide this from everyone. Actually, gods know about it. But you must promise you won't tell it to any other... even it is Hazel, Percy or anyone!" he insisted. I and Nico promised him.

Hades started to talk.
