Chapter 58

Everything here felt familiar to me. I felt safe and insecure here. But I felt something missing from all those feelings. As time passed second by second that feeling grew more and more. I wanted to know what it was. But nothing came to my mind. My mind was like a clean, blank sheet of paper.

I didn't know who to trust anymore. I began to think that I was kind of alone here. Everything exuded familiarity and unfamiliarity. All these things have driven me crazy. I can't take this anymore. This has given me a terrible headache. This is the only thing I got after I woke up.

I felt like I knew everyone here very well, but there was still an uneasy feeling inside me. Suddenly everything around me was filled with comforting warmth. I like the new temperature of this environment. I could feel the uncomfortable oppression in my mind leaving me. Gradually the warmth around me rose. It did me no harm.

Thalia, who was next to me, left the cabin because of a call she received. "I will come soon," she said and ran.

My heartbeat increased rhythmically. As I lay down, I noticed that the window next to the bed was slowly moving. I immediately jumped out of bed. I knelt on my own with one knee on the ground. 'An assault?'

A doubt arose in my mind about my safety, whoever or whatever was beyond the window. I waited for something to come through the window. My body was immediately ready for action. I was looking at the window, ready to attack at any moment.

My five senses were working fine. Outside the cabin, I heard a faint sound of crunching leaves and someone's rapid breathing. 

The window slowly opened. My breathing stopped for a moment. My heartbeat was barely audible. It was dark outside the cabin. I watched in silence as someone's head popped out of the window. I could not see who it was because of the darkness of the environment.
