Chapter 50

"Of course mom! I'm not a kid anymore...! I can take care of myself and I've never risked myself. I did everything to a plan. After I got the opportunity to join Gaia's side, I took an iris call to Thalia and planned everything secretly" I explained that I don't need God's help to win this war and I proved that I can take care of this thing. Thalia shook her head and agreed with me. 

"You're so...!" mom laughed and ruffled my hair. I smirked and pushed her to the door. Campers were walking everywhere like a normal day. Some were sleeping while some were collecting arrows on the ground and some were helping the injured campers. Even though the routine has changed, it's still the busy camp I always used to see. 

We stepped into the mess hall and all the gods were there discussing something and I knew it was how to fight in the next attack but now I'm gonna vanish all their plans in just a few minutes. 

I stepped into the mess hall taking everyone's attention to me. 

"Vany!!! Are you okay!? We heard that you had a hard time while you were with Gaia" Aphrodite ran to me. 'Clumsy' I smirked. "It seems you've worried about me a lot..."

"She's my daughter. Can't you see that she's all fine!?" Poseidon, my dad pushed Aphrodite away from me as he knows that I don't have a good idea for her and bent to me. "Are you really okay!? You scared me to the death" he whispered to me making me burst into laughter. 

"Well... as you all see, I'm all fine so, stop worrying about me. I'll feel disappointed if you keep worrying about me. These injuries are nothing to me. Just lemme end this by myself. Please don't put your noses into this. It makes me angry!!!" I faked a wave of anger. 

"Okay... okay... but are you sure that you want the help of a warrior like me!? Can you manage this all by yourself!?" Hera is always doesn't being satisficed by others even if it is her husband. 

"Of course...!" I pouted. 

"If you're confident like this... I order that we're going back to the Olympus" Zeus, the king of Gods ordered. With a big flash, Gods disappeared from my sight. 

I turned back and headed back to the Artemis cabin to meet Thalia to make further plans for the war. But I met her on the way back there. "Thalia!" I called Thalia who was talking with a camper named Claris. As for the others, she's really scary when she got angry. She even could kill someone at any second. I heard some campers were talking that she'd killed dracone without any armour and just with only a spear to take the revenge for killing her bestie, a daughter of Aphrodite. I know it's shocking when I heard a daughter of war had a bestie who is a daughter of love! Now I can understand how others felt when they heard that I'm the daughter of Artemis who hates men. 

"Thalia... I wanna talk to you something with you... ALONE...!" the last word was bolded to express that the topic is gonna be a serious thing. We left Claris behind and walked to somewhere where we can talk freely about the plans of the war. 

"Well, don't you think that something's wrong...!? Nyx is helping Gaia but I didn't feel her power last night" an unexpected laugh popped from Thalia. 

"Aish... I forgot to tell you that Gods are also like monsters for the camp's protective shield. They can't pass the shield without permission" Thalia looked at the old oak tree stand to show the border of the camp. Once Thalia was that old oak tree and I didn't try to dig into that incident as I saw it was something hard to tell by their faces. 

"That's a relief" I sighed. 

"Oh, well... are you okay!? You look like... I don't know, but you are different from the other days" Thalia looked at me suspiciously. My heart skipped a beat. I was trying hard to hide my feelings. 

"Ah... I... I... yeah...! I'm fine!" I stuttered. 

"Ah, okay then! Anyway, I gotta go to check on my hunters. I'll see you around" Thalia left me alone on the road. I slowly stepped towards the dark forest which I always liked to walk in it. My mind went through so many thoughts. 

"Vany!!!" a sound called from behind. I woke up from my thoughts and turned back to see who was calling my name. 

"Oh, Shennie!? I wanted to meet you too but had no time with this war stuff." 

"Ah... anyway, where is Joon Ki!? I saw him at the war but I can't find him now..." Shennie held my hand. 

"Well... I also wanted to talk about him with you..." 

"Don't tell me that the rumours are true that you've fallen in love with him!?"

"Oh... that's... that's not it... actually..."

"I knew that! You...! You are trying to tell me that you like him too. I thought you didn't like him and wanted to see me and him getting together but... but... you're betraying! You always did! First, you betrayed our friendship. You even didn't tell us that you're joining Gaia's army to find a way to defeat her or you didn't even tell us the plan you've made up with! And now...! You're with my... you're so annoying! I hate you!"
