Ava's POV
I woke up the next morning, determined to get some of the Agents on my side. I had a plan in place -
1) Go to the Agency and have a talk with some of the agents
2) Train a handful of the warriors of this pack who were willing to fight against these assassins.
3) Go into the Academy, create a distraction with some of the people, drawing boss out.
4) Snap his neck from behind as he's busy 'negotiating' with mom.Of course, this time, I told Adam about my plan, and he wasn't happy about it, but upon realizing that we didn't have any other, better idea, he agreed immediately.
It would come into motion in a few days. Till then, I had to recruit some pack members and some of the agents.
---------------------------------
By the end of the day, I was beat. I had got around 13 wolves to fight with us. Not many people were interested in putting their lives on the line, even if it was for their Luna. I understand. Using my position won't really help the situation.
Besides, fighting alongside vampires wasn't something anyone was interested in, but the ones that joined had the common sense that they wouldn't harm us if they were on our side.
Tomorrow, we gather some agents.
--------------------------------
Gathering agents was far easier than I thought. McAllister taught us too well. It was far too easy to keep this whole thing under wraps. I got almost everyone to work with me. They all were not happy with McAllister, even if he had trained us, he wasn't exactly in the right for taking us from our homes and family.
Others were thankful and agreed not to fight against us if anything happened. I was glad that even though we hadn't gained more people on our side, we had lost numbers on the enemy's side.
Once again, I went back to sleep, beat.
-------------------------------
The agents, in my opinion, already had good enough training, but there's always room for improvement. They are training even harder in the Academy grounds. The pack is joining me with my morning routine, much to their protests, but it's required.
--------------------------------
(A/N Sorry for all the time lapses. I'm getting on with the actual descriptive story now.)
Adam, mom, John, Kaden and the others join me as well. After all, this is something they need.
I plopped onto one of the couches after training, breathing deeply, trying to even out my breathing along with my mother, who is doing the same.
The rest catch their breaths, collapsing on the floor dramatically. We all burst into a fit of laughter.
Just when I was going to get myself a glass of water, a pack member comes running in, "Alpha, Luna! Rogues!" He yells, making me immediately rush out to the area of the border he was pointing.
Sure enough, there stands McAllister with his evil grin. I glare at him long and hard while linking the warriors and agents to alert them of the situation.
It looks like he didn't come alone. He brought backup of his own. A group of rogues. None of them were part of the Agency as far as I know, that's for sure, but I have a feeling they aren't your regular ol' rogues. I have a strong feeling they are trained and skilled.
"I see you're making preparations of your own?" He asks. I don't give him a response as I feel a group of people gather behind me. He smirks. "Sure looks like you have been busy." He comments, gesturing to the army of people behind me.
