Finally the work day was over with I quickly gathered my things going towards the exited before hearing a voice that made the neck hair stood up. "Dick can I talk to you?" It was Bruce I wonder what he wanted I didn't cause any trouble not even when he stole the love of my life from me I sighed softly walking towards him as he stares at me I stood there looking at him ", Yes Mr. Wayne what is it?". Bruce looks at me sighing softly running a hand through his neat hair clearing his throat before speaking ". I'm sorry for what happened between us but when feelings are strong for, someone you can't help yourself" I knew exactly who he was, talking about he was talking about Barbara how he knew how I felt about her how he knew I wanted to ask her to marry me but it all changed when I caught them in our bed. In the bed we shared all the deep talks we shared, all the times we shared our dreams I was gonna ask her to marry me sure I didn't have money like Bruce and I wasn't tall like him hell I don't even have abs like Bruce I'm skinny and my hair is spiky and messy it's not neat like Bruce's but I would have done everything in my power to make Barbara happy.  I stared at him before opening my mouth to speak "Bruce that fucking hurt! You stole her from me! You knew I was gonna ask her to marry me! Hell you helped picked the damn ring!", I shout letting my anger release saying what I have wanted to say to him for the longest time Bruce looks at me taken, back by my words he probably didn't expect me to bring it up luckily no one was in the office I wouldn't want anyone else seeing me like this yelling, cussing the boss out if it was anyone else they would have been fired. But not me he knows without me the company would be nothing "I am sorry Dick I only thought about my own self.  Barbara and I should have been honest with you if we had it wouldn't have turned out like this....." Bruce looks at me then sighs softly as I didn't say a word I turned my back to him facing the exit making my way out of the door "Tell Barbara she can come by to pick up the rest of her shit it'll be sitting outside, on the porch waiting for her" And with that I walked away leaving him by himself.  I got into my car driving away from the company I drove until I went to the house where Starfire was getting out of the car I walked pass her going into the room she was staying in Barbara never stayed in this room it was her own. Live in closet I started packing up the rest of her shoes, clothes, and anything else she had left I heard footsteps walk towards me and I knew it was Starfire's footsteps she looked at me with a curious look on her face ", Dick what are you doing?". She asked as I kept packing up the stuff I turned to her looking at her "I'm getting rid of this stuff we should get you some new stuff anyways. We can go shopping after this if you want to". I tell her looking at her she doesn't say anything but, nods her head agreeing to the shopping spree. I finished packing up Barbara's stuff in boxes labeling them sitting them neatly on the porch leaving a note on one of the boxes telling her I'm gonna go out with a friend. I went back inside to where Starfire was I had given her some old clothes of mine that she could wear while, we were out she smiles at me posting in the outfit it was a baseball hat, some black jeans with the holes in them, a purple shirt and some white shoes with designs on them. I blushed deeply looking at her rubbing the back of my head blushing I could, feel my heart pound in my chest ", You look cute I mean! Pretty! I mean good! You look good!" She stares at me for a moment before giggling softly "Thank you Dick well, we should get ready to go" Starfire takes my hand and, we walked down the steps towards my car.
