I was glad to be out of the house, I needed to get away seeing Barbara would have opened up some old feelings and I don't want that to happened. Especially after talking with Bruce and storming out of there, Bruce used to be a father to me I think I am more, hurt that he betrayed me than I am of Barbara but it still hurts. The fact that both of them were sneaking around with each other and didn't tell me still hurts, I wish Barbara would have talked to me maybe we could have worked it out before she had ran into Bruce's arms but obviously not. I sighed softly driving to the clothing stores with Starfire, I suddenly left her hand on my arm. I looked at her out of the corner of my eye, while paying attention to the road. "Yes Starfire? What is it?". I asked her softly as we continued to drive to the clothing stores. "Are you alright Dick? You've been quiet since, we left the house". Starfire asked me gently as I stopped at a stop sign. I ran a hand through my hair sighing softly. "Well before we met I had a girlfriend named, Barbara she cheated on me with someone who, I thought was a good friend of mine. But I was wrong her shit was still there so I decided to pack it up, but don't worry we are getting you some new clothes." I told StarFire as she, listens to me rant about the two people who I thought I could trust.We finally arrived at the clothing store, I got out of the car then went around to StarFire's side. I opened the door for her, offering my hand to her. She gave me a smile before taking my hand allowing me to, help her out of the car. I gave her a smile back, leading her into the store Starfire looked around the store and started trying on different outfits, she tired on a leather jacket, jeans, and a light pink shirt with designs on them. Then she tired on a red skirt with a black shirt. It had purple stripes on it. She tired on a few more things and got a couple of shoes, we got to the cashier and I paid for everything and I do mean everything, then we got her some underwear and bras. I took her to another store and brought her some more stuff, she needed body wash, bath bombs, lotions, a phone to text or call whenever she needed me. And of course I got some new pillows, bedsheets and curtians for her to have in her room. I spent quite a bit of money today but it didn't matter, StarFire needed this stuff and I was gonna make sure I got it for her. We headed back home and decided to have dinner at home since I was almost out of money, Starfire looked over at me. "Dick are you sure it is okay for me to have, all of this stuff? It seems unnecessary for me to have all of this". She told me as we were driving home, I shook my head before opening up my mouth to speak. "Don't worry I don't have any bills to pay anyways, plus you needed this stuff so it's okay really don't worry about it". I told her gently getting to the house and parking the the car. The stuff I had left early on the porch, was gone I took a sigh, of relief knowing I didn't have to see Barbara. That was the last thing I wanted to do....who knew what would have happened if we had seen each other, especially since StarFire lives with me now. I went over to StarFire to help her, it was quite a bit of stuff I had gotten for her. But it didn't matter I had the money it wasn't for anything important I always kept money I need for bills and emergencies in a drawer in my room. We got the stuff and decoration her room putting the clothes, shoes, lady things, and other things she needed for herself. I wonder what else she would need or if she even needed any of this stuff, I guess since I have been saving up I should try to spend some money on myself and Starfire fire this house is paid off and I use a special card to pay my bills. I make sure to always keep money on that as well, I thought about what Garfield said about the four of us going out together. I sigh softly then walked up to Starfire awkwardly rubbing the back of my head. "Hey Starfire um since tomorrow is Saturday wanna hang out with my friends?". Starfire looks at me and gives me a cute grin. "Sure I have not been anywhere until today anyways it wouldn't hurt to meet some of your friends". I felt a small grin reach my lips as I nod my head. "Great I'll tell my friend and we'll work something out". I tell her before I go to my room this is going to be an interesting Saturday.
