BE MY VALENTINE

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Oh, Remus. Sweet Remus. Sweet and sometimes salty, Remus. He really didn't like receiving gifts, despite never having much as it was. He didn't own many possessions, not many that truly mattered anyway. Though he wasn't the richest wizard to walk the earth, he adored giving other people presents.

Alice had ducked Remus' morning affections before he even had the chance to wake up. Considering it was Valentine's Day, it hurt a bit. But it was also a school day. Therefore, she probably was at breakfast. Usually if Alice left before Remus woke up, she would leave a note. Not today. It made him nervous, more than angry or sad or anything. He still had the subtle fear that everything was a game. That Alice didn't a feel single thing for him, as he did for her.

That was Alice's style. He liked to believe Alice loved him very much, but do you ever really know? What was he thinking, of course she loved him! Remus' overthinking was a common problem that he had to manage delicately like cutting the proper wires on a bomb. Alice was always there to reassure him, which he appreciated more than she knew. But she wasn't here right now, due to his frantic thinking that caused him to forget entirely about breakfast.

He had Alice first block which cheered him up. If she showed up early, that was even better.

Plans. Remus had big plans for later. Plans that involved him and Alice. Perfect plans. That word. Today he liked it. 'Plan' was his favorite word for today. Because he had Valentine's plans with his beautiful girlfriend.

Remus perked up, hearing the footsteps of Alice. He'd memorized the soft thud they made against each floor surface. Sneaking over to the door, he pressed his back against the wall, smelling her candy-like perfume get closer. Alice walked in confused and squinted her eyes.

"Rem-,"

Quickly grabbing her hand, he spun her into a very long, and very smooth kiss. Alice wrapped one arm around his neck and bit him on his lip. She thought it annoyed him, wanting to be playful. But he liked it. Remus hummed lowly before parting. "You left early this morning."

"Had to get a head start on your gift!" Alice excitedly chewed her lip to calm herself.

"I can't wait all day to have you to myself. It's too much." Remus shook his head as if he'd never be alone with Alice again.

Alice pecked him softly on the lips. "I'm all yours, Remus."

"I know."

As class slowed to a start, Alice sat down at her desk and left Remus to lean against his. Today he decided he didn't really care if he made too many hints toward a relationship with Alice. He looked at her for as long as he wanted and teased her when he wanted. Until they did a rather difficult worksheet that Remus was using to fill the time since he was still feeling uneasy from the last full moon.

Zephyr was absent today, which Alice told Remus was because he smoked pot at 3 in the morning and it still hadn't worn off. That was all thanks to the charm he put on it to make it last longer. Which was a mistake because he was seeing colors he'd never seen before.

Remus walked around the room, glancing at papers and asking students if they needed help. Although his favorite student wasn't struggling, he sat down next to her anyway, in Zephyr's usual seat. Being in the back of the room was convenient. "How's it going, Miss Lafitte?" He asked her, knowing she was doing perfectly fine.

"I think I need help with question 14, actually," Alice said with her eyes running up and down his body. She had to remind herself that she was in class and should compose herself.
