MOVING OUT, AND UP!
⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

By getting kicked out and thoroughly destroying her relationship with her mother, Alice must've done something right. Because she felt so much happier. Granted, it had only been a half hour. Remus was still trying to devise a mastermind plan to surprise Sirius even more about Alice. She didn't really see how their relationship could get much more surprising. It was unexpected enough without any specialities.

Anytime Remus and Alice wanted, they could head to Sirius'. Since they could both apparate, the hard part was convincing Remus that she didn't need any special introductions. After some begging and maybe a little sexual teasing, Alice convinced him that it wasn't necessary. So you can imagine Alice's relief when they had apparated to 12 Grimmauld Place. They stood on the street, facing the large building. Even though Alice had heard a lot of good things about Sirius, it still made her nervous. She was meeting someone who meant a lot to Remus. And that meant a lot to her.

This was important. She had to make a good first impression.

As soon as Alice took the first step into the house, she felt more at home than she'd ever felt with her mother. And she didn't even know Sirius yet. He sounded like a good, charming soul from the way Remus had described him. He was Harry's godfather too. That must've counted for something.

As excited as Alice was to meet him, her stomach dropped when she heard shoes descend from the carpeted stairs. "For fuck's sake, Moony! I've told you numerous times that you don't have to ring the doorbell when you-," Sirius halted to a stop at the bottom of the stairs and noticed Remus was not alone. Sirius was... well, beautiful. He had smooth, long black hair, deep grey eyes, and had a physique shorter than Remus, but more confident.

"Been a while, Padfoot," Remus said, striding to Sirius and embracing him tightly. Sirius' eyes remained on Alice with curiosity, but nonetheless he returned the hug to Remus.

"Who's this, Remus? If you had a daughter, I thought you would've told me by now." Sirius nervously chuckled and scanned Alice with eyes. "Besides she doesn't look like you, she-,"

Alice and Remus both winced and their eyes dropped to the floor. "Sirius... this is my girlfriend: Alice."

Sirius blinked and processed this newfound information. Then, without saying a word, he made his way to her and pulled her into a hug. "Run while you can." He laughed quietly into her ear.

Alice snickered. She wondered if Remus had heard that. "You're exactly as Remus described you."

"Of course I am. Nobody can forget a detail about me. I'm too intriguing."

Remus rolled his eyes. "Look what you've done. You've gotten him going, now he'll never shut up."

Alice couldn't believe how quickly she was accepted by Sirius. The three of them spent hours talking. Sirius and Alice told each other all of Remus' embarrassing stories while he glared at them from where he sat at the table. Other than that Remus' embarrassment, they discussed the matter of Alice no longer being welcomed in her own home anymore. Sirius knew how that felt. That's probably why he invited her to stay with him before she even had the opportunity to ask.

Around midnight, Harry showed up. He'd presumably spent the first hours of break with Ron and Hermione, but the bruises on his neck that he was so desperately attempting to hide said otherwise.

Harry was delighted that Alice was there. Alice was glad Harry was there too. It had been a while since they talked. Preparing for tests, sex, Clint drama, more sex, all that stuff had severely distracted her from spending time with a lot of her friends. But the school year was coming to an end. She'd have plenty of time to breathe and stretch her limbs.
