42. Craving

Cassie's 1st Person POV

I am currently scraping cookies off the cookie sheet and placing them on a giant plate. I had a random urge to bake so here I am with a delicious batch of chocolate chip cookies I know the guys will appreciate. Earlier I made baked Mac and cheese knowing the guys will be a little hungry when they come home from work.

I hear my phone buzz on the kitchen counter, so I put down the spatula and pick up my phone, seeing a notification from Jeongguk. I pull up the text conversation and read the new message he sent me.

Kookie🐰💖:
Cass, we are leaving the shop earlier than planned. Chaelin showed up to the shop unannounced. We'll tell you all the details, but probably not tonight. Nothing bad happened. Yoongi said he was able to say everything he wanted to say to her. Anyway, we are calling it a day here. We just want to get home and relax with you.

I'm shocked to hear that Chaelin made an appearance at the tattoo shop. I'm curious to know why she showed up and what words were exchanged between Yoongi and her. I don't want to bring it up when they get home, but if Yoongi does want to talk about it, I'll offer him my ears and listen to him. But, I can understand if Chaelin is the last thing he wants to talk about when he gets home.

I text Jeongguk to let him know I received his message.

Cassie:
Oh, wow. I'm glad he was able to speak his mind. I won't bring it up. I'll wait until he wants to talk about it. Btw, I made five-cheese baked macaroni and cheese and also baked some chocolate chip cookies. I can warm up the mac when you guys get home. I'll make sure you both relax tonight. 😉

The man replies immediately.

Kookie🐰💖:
Yum🤤 Though, Yoongi and I are mainly craving you. We'll be home soon, babe.

Cassie:
You men can have at me later. 😉😘

I set my phone into my sweater pocket, finish putting the rest of the cookies on the plate, and I carry it with me into the living room. I place the cookies on the coffee table and I settle onto the sectional couch with Holly jumping on the cushions. The tiny dog climbs on my lap to cuddle.

Several minutes pass by and I hear the door swing open. The two men I've been waiting for enter the house.

"Hey, Cass," Yoongi greets me then sits beside me. He picks up Holly and rubs his nose into the dog's furry head then places him on the other side of the couch. Yoongi lays down and rests his head right on my lap and I rake my fingers through his soft hair and then I start to massage his temple.

"You look exhausted. Long day, Yoongi?" I asks him in a soft voice.

"Incredibly long, but I'm glad it's over and I can just rest with you and Kookie...and fuck, the way you're massaging my head feels so good right now." He purrs out as my fingers continue to work their magic on his scalp.

After Jeongguk took off his shoes and leather jacket, he comes up to me and bends down, pecking my lips with his soft ones.

"Cass, you stay here in the living room with Yoongi and I'll warm up the food for me and Yoongi," Jeongguk offers as he smiles at me, and I nod and gaze fondly at him.
