The whole drive home, I felt like shit. I didn't want to go to this stupid dinner anymore. There was going to be press there and I'm sure they'd ask me questions and I was worried I'd say something stupid. But most of all, I didn't want to see Jimin there tonight. I just didn't know how I'd react after what I saw. I don't know if I can act like everything is normal and like I didn't see anything or worse, like it doesn't bother me. It shouldn't bother me but it does. The rest of the drive is a blur, I zoned out and next thing I know, I'm pulling into the parking garage. I mentally slap myself for being so careless and head inside to my apartment once I park.
I hop in the shower as soon as I'm in and start to get ready. I've wasted enough time and I have to get going soon, the last thing I need is to be late. I haven't even seen the dress Yu-Jin and Sejin got for me, I hope it's my style. I really should have looked at it before today just in case I needed to get something else. I don't even know if it'll fit.
Once I dry my hair and curl it, I go into the bedroom and open the box with the dress so I can figure out how to do my makeup. Much to my surprise, it's beautiful and very much my style. I'm a little surprised they picked this out but I'm not gonna complain. I go to do my makeup and finish getting ready before I stand in front of my full length mirror before I head out.
I decide to put on pantyhose since it's a more formal gathering and it helps the outfit look a little more put together. I top off my gloss and grab my bag and a light cardigan and head out. I arrive a little early, before the press gets there to help with any last minute setup that needs to be done. I quickly get to work helping them finish last minute touches to the tables and decorations. Soon, everyone starts filing in and going to the designated media area so there's less people running around everywhere. I make my way to a corner of the room so I'm out of the way and soon enough, I hear the shutters going off and see the flashing lights as BTS starts filing into the room. They pose for a little bit before they introduce themselves and Namjoon starts a speech followed by the rest also adding a little bit to it.
Shortly after, the media is removed and the dinner starts. Everyone eats and makes conversation. They're all so excited about the tour and it's all they talk about. I'm sitting at a table next to a very handsome man who seems to be a couple years older than me. He greets me and introduces himself as Uri. We get to talking and I find him pretty funny and charming. He works in the marketing department and is helping with the next promo that will launch after tour. We talk for quite a while until it's time to mingle with other guests.
