22. Declarations 💦🔞

Y/N's POV

Lily follows behind as I lead us to PD-nim's suite. I'm a little nervous although I'm not sure why I should be. He's a sweet man, but he's still intimidating. I lightly knock on the door when we get there and it opens after a few seconds. We bow down to manager Sejin as we walk in and I notice everyone's eyes are on us. Well, on me. I make the mistake of looking at Jimin only to find pure anger on every inch of his face. Why is he so angry?

I look away and look at Jk and see a small smile on his face and I bow down them all and greet them.

"Hi everyone. It's nice to see you again." I say.

"Y/N! Lily! Great, you're here." Says PD-nim.

"Oh thank God you're back!" Exclaims Hobi and I give him a big smile.

"I missed you, too sunshine."

The rest of the members express their joy to have me back too and it makes me feel good. I'm happy they missed me as much as I missed them. Lily and I take a seat on an open loveseat and PD-nim starts explaining why we're there.

"You obviously know y/n. This is Lily, she's been with us for a little longer than y/n but she bounces around department to department, isn't that right?" He says as he looks at her.

"Yes, sir." She says in her tiny voice. It's so funny seeing her be so timid. That's not like her at all.

"I've heard great things about you Lily. Which is why I'm assigning a permanent position for you. No more internship." He smiles.

"No way, really?!" She says.

"Yes. You'll be taking over y/n's position starting today and your pay will increase. We'll talk about those details later in private."

"Thank you sir! Oh my god. But wait...if I'm taking over y/n's position then..." she starts.

"Where does that leave me?" I finish.

"Well, Miss y/l/n, I've heard just as many great things about you as well. Not just from the members but everyone you've worked with. Your drive and your attention to even the smallest detail is something that's hard to come by. As you know, Mae decided to lighten her work load. But she's decided to step down. She specifically asked that you take over her role."

"As—as the main assistant?" I asked, completely dumbfounded.

"Not just the main assistant. The head of all the assistants. You're in charge now. This is your department and I have faith you'll excel."

"Holy shit." I breathe out in English and everyone lets out a chuckle. "Sorry. I thought that was in my head. Wow. I don't even know what to say besides thank you. I—."

"You don't have to say anything. I know you'll do well. I have faith in you."

"Talk about no pressure." I chuckle and everyone follows suit.

"Manager Sejin will walk over your duties with you. Mae also wanted me to inform you that you may reach out if you need help with anything and she can walk you through whatever you need. And of course, we're all here, too." He smiles warmly at me. I get up and bow down at him.

"Thank you so much. I promise I won't let you down. Thank you."

"Of course. Well, that was all I needed you all for. You're free to go." He says to everyone.

Lily and I get up to leave behind the members and once we're in the hall, Hobi comes and hugs me.

"Congratulations, y/n. You deserve it." He beams.
