Y/N's POV

The steady humming of the plane is making me so sleepy. What I wanted most was to be able to sleep on this plane ride to London but work was calling. I would never get over the amount of paperwork this job is. I felt like I was constantly staring at a screen, be it my phone, laptop or iPad, I always had something in front of my face. Staring at this screen isn't helping much either to wake me up. No one's sitting beside me either so I don't have anyone to distract me. I'm sitting in the first row behind first class, where the guys are sitting. Only the restrooms are separating us.

I try to focus on this emailing I'm writing when I feel someone's presence coming towards me. I look up and Namjoon's pretty smile is waiting for me. I smile at him back, thinking he's probably just going to the restroom but he walks right past them. He comes and sits next to me instead.

"Hey, Joon. What brings you here?" I ask as I finally close my laptop. It's no use. I can't focus anyway.

"Got bored. Everyone else is sleeping or focused on something else. Did I interrupt your work?"

"Nah. I was having trouble concentrating anyway."

"How come?"

"Just tired. The plane is lulling me to sleep."

"You should sleep then."

"Too much work. I'll fall behind."

"Aren't you the one always telling us not to work too hard and to take it easy?"

"Yeah because your work is so physically and mentally draining."

"And how is yours not? We might not do the same thing but what you do is just as important and just as difficult. You have to learn when to take a break."

"This coming from the man notorious for working himself to the brink of exhaustion?" I cock an eyebrow at him and he chuckles, bearing his beautiful dimples at me.

"Ok, you got me there. How about this? When we get to London, you and I can go somewhere."

"Where do you wanna go?"

"I don't know. You can pick." he shrugs.

"We can go to the National Gallery. I've always wanted to go."

"You like art?" he asks, his face lighting up when I nod.

"I used to sketch and paint a lot in high school. Nothing is more satisfying to me than hands covered in paint or charcoal after working on a piece for a while."

"That's really cool. I didn't know that about you. The National Gallery it is."

"Will we have time though?"

"We'll make time." he smiles at me again. "Actually, we should try to do something together in every city we go to. Even if it's just lunch at a local place. I feel like we haven't really spent much time together and I'd like to get to know you better, Y/N. I feel like we can be great friends."

He's so sweet and his words only make me feel guilty. He's right. We haven't spent much time together. The little free time I do have was spent with Jimin or Jungkook. I haven't even really spoken to Lily all that much lately. I feel like such a lousy friend right now and my smile falters a little. Joon notices right away.

"What's wrong? Do you not want to? We don't have to."

"No, Joonie. It's not that. I just realized I haven't really been a good friend to you or anyone lately. I've been so caught up in my own thing that I neglected everyone else. I'm so sorry. I've been selfish and I've only been focused on me and this shit I'm going through, I haven't even stopped to think about anyone else. But that's gonna change, I promise." I smile at him again.
