Dae-hee opened his eyes in panic as he felt something cold and sharp against his neck.He looked up, seeing Jungwon standing right next to him with a knife.
His eyes widened as he noticed Park Sunghoon calmly leaning against the doorway with a knife of his own.
"My daughter."
That was the first words he muttered as he looked at them in panic.
"She'll be fine as long as you give us the codes. I'm sure you know which ones I'm talking about." Jungwon threatened.
He stayed quietly still for a few seconds as if he was thinking about it.
Sunghoon glared at him as he waited for his response.
He's fucking hesitating?
"Stand up and walk." Jungwon demanded and the man followed his order.
Sunghoon's gaze never faltered as he watched the man and Jungwon walk past him.
"You've grown up." Dae-hee said towards Sunghoon who only nodded his head.
"I've been told so." Sunghoon nonchalantly responded as he kept his eyes on him as they walked down the hallway towards the locked room.
Dae-hee started unlocking the door with a key that was in his pocket.
"Damn you sleep with that shit on you?" Jungwon questioned as he almost chuckled but contained it.
Sunghoon suddenly heard a small laugh and he turned his head towards the door next to him.
The little girl was still awake and had let out a small chuckle of delight at the sight of Sunghoon.
He looked down at the knife in his hand and the grip that Jungwon still had on Dae-hee.
He decided to close the door of her room, leaving it slightly ajar.
She doesn't need to see any of this.. She's too young.
If there was any situation where they would need to use the knives, the first one to see it would be her and that is not a sight that a little baby should have.
He knew first hand of the trauma that brings.
He turned his focus back towards the two men as they had walked into the room.
Jungwon looked around as he scrunched up his nose at the foul smell.
"Did you use this room as a trash can too?" He asked as he stared at the man walk closer towards a computer and sit down on a chair. "You better write that shit down quickly and it better be the real one. Unless you want your daughter to pay for that."
Dae-hee nodded as he wrote down the codes onto a piece of paper.
"Let me see you access with the codes you wrote." Sunghoon suddenly said as he walked closer to them.
The man's eyes widened and Sunghoon only raised his eyebrows.
"They are the real ones....Right? Try it." He urged as he reached the spot next to him, gesturing towards the computers.
Sunghoon's gaze darkened as he leaned against the desk to meet at eye level.
"Shitbag of a father you are." He whispered as he slowly placed the tip of his knife to Dae-hee's neck. "Tell me the real fucking codes before I slit your throat open."
Dae-hee's hand shook as he grabbed another piece of paper.
"How much time do we have until the police gets here?" Sunghoon asked Jungwon as he didn't look away from Dae-hee.
