Sunghoon sat up in a hurry as he heard a cry coming from the room in front of theirs.

He looked over at Angelica, who was already putting on her slippers to avoid the cold floor.

"I'll go." He told her as he pulled on her shirt making her lay back again. She smiled as a thank you and he only softly caressed her forehead.

He stood from the bed and sluggishly walked across the hall.

Sunghoon leaned over the crib, softly picking up a crying Daisy.

"What's wrong baby?" He soothed as he laid her against his chest.

Angelica let out a yawn as she walked out of the room.

She frowned as she noticed the baby's room was empty.

She quickly walked over to the kitchen, seeing no one there as well.

Suddenly Shortcake jumped onto the back of the couch, making her gaze fall towards a sleeping Sunghoon with Daisy laying on his chest with her eyes wide open as she was awake.

There was Angelica's big body pillow on the side of the couch making her almost laugh.

He must've gotten paranoid that she could fall.

One of Sunghoon's hands lay softly against her back and the other held a bottle to the floor.

She let out a sigh of relief as she spotted them perfectly fine and well.

Angelica knew Mr. Park was dead, but the panic seemed to stay within her from time to time.

It was like he was still living in her mind.

She walked over to them with a loving smile and went to grab the baby, but Sunghoon gently held her to his chest.

His eyes opened in a hurry and once his gaze met hers, he relaxed his grip.

"You're spoiling her a little too much. She won't want to be off of you." Angelica chuckled as she softly picked her up and placed her in the small cradle they had in the living room.

"I don't mind." He said groggily as he grabbed the blanket that was draped over the couch and threw it around his shoulders.

Angelica raised her eyebrows as she watched him lay upside down and close his eyes.

Shortcake jumped onto his back and laid across it making Angelica laugh.

"Daisy is gonna end up like Shortcake. You'll have three pieces of gum stuck to you."

"Three?" He questioned lifting his head up. "'Who's the third-"

"Uncle Jake is home!" Jake burst open the door as he smiled brightly, letting Heeseung and Jungwon into the house.

Sunghoon let out a groan as he laid his head back onto the couch with a thump.

"There's the third one." Angelica chuckled as she turned around to get the coffee machine ready.

"What are you talking about?" Jake questioned as he plopped down on top of Sunghoon with a grunt, making Shortcake jump off of him.

"Nothing." Angelica said as she shook her head with a small smile.

Jake softly laid his head on top of Sunghoon's and giggled.

"I told you. You're gonna get sleepless nights and grey hairs." He said mockingly as he patted Sunghoon's hair.

Jungwon placed a cup holder full of coffee cups onto the counter, and a big bag from Starbucks.

"The caramel macchiato is yours." He told Angelica, who only let out a small gasp.
