They walked through the sea of bodies as Jake scrunched up his nose in disgust. This is not my type of fun..
He pulled Hara along, seeing a door.
He stopped and looked at the young girl who seemed terrified.
"I won't hurt you." He consoled as he tried to give her the warmest smile he could and she only nodded. "Is this the back?"
She nodded her head hesitantly.
He moved closer to her and covered his mouth to talk as he spotted Mr. Han looking at them from afar.
"Do you know if there are any exits through here?"
"I'm not sure. I think they closed them off from the outside." She said softly, Jake almost not hearing her.
He nodded as he turned to open the door.
When they walked inside and closed the door behind them, the music was barely heard.
There were many doors on each side of the hallway and only one blatantly labeled as exit at the end of the hall.
He pulled out his phone and quickly typed Sunghoon a text.
He placed it back in his pocket and looked at the doors, looking for the one closest to the exit.
"Let's go in one of the rooms." He said as he looked up, spotting a camera in the corner, she looked up as well for a split second, nodding her head.
She followed him into the room nearest to the exit, closing the door behind her.
Jake instantly looked around, looking for some way to get out of the room, but there were no windows anywhere.
He scrunched up his nose at the different inappropriate things layered about.
He shook his head and looked at her.
"Don't you trust a little too quickly?" He asked her as he looked down at his phone again.
She looked at the floor as she tilted her head.
"You didn't fit into that setting." She answered as she shrugged her shoulders, leaning against the wall.
"What made you think I didn't?"
"The way you walked inside. The way you asked for a drink instead of demanding one. And because of the way you dress." She said as she pointed at him.
Jake furrowed his eyebrows and looked down at his plaid wool coat.
"What's wrong with the way I dress?"
Hara shrugged again crossing her arms over her chest.
He noticed the goosebumps along her arms and removed his coat extending it towards her.
She stared at it for a few seconds but grabbed it from his hand, placing it around her shoulders and buttoning the front.
Jake continued to stare at her as he tried to figure out how such a young girl got dragged into this.
"How old are you?" He asked her softly.
"19."
His eyes widened as he felt his concern rise even more.
"19?! How the fuck did you end up here?"
She looked down at the floor as she bit her lip.
"I was kidnapped. About four or five years ago, I think." She explained waveringly. "Mr. Han is the father of one of my school friends. One day I was walking to her house and he found me on the street and told me he would give me a ride. I thought I could trust him since I had met him a couple of times, but he brought me to a house and he-"
