Sunoo took a deep breath as he stopped the car where they had parked before.

Angelica now sat in the front seat as she continued to point the gun at Sunoo.

"Unlock the door." She said nonchalantly as she stared at him.

Sunoo slowly removed the child's lock and she quickly got out of the car.

"Damn it." Sunoo whispered to himself as he hit the wheel.

Angelica determinedly walked down the sidewalk as she turned in the alleyway that Sunghoon and her had first met, moving towards the back of the store.

"Where exactly is it?" She whispered to herself as she spotted the exit door.

She quickly moved towards it, but stopped herself once she realized something.

Alarms could go off..

She stepped back and looked up at the wall, seeing a small window.

Her gears turned as she looked around, spotting a trashcan.

I can reach with that..

She rapidly moved towards it, pulling the heavy and smelly trashcan against the wall.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed a drinks basket that was in the corner, stepping on top of it to get on the trashcan.

It had no lid so her feet instantly sank a little into the trash, making her a little nauseous at the amount of disgust she was feeling.

She grabbed onto the window and using the hilt of her gun, she tried breaking it, successfully cracking the glass.

She gave it one last hit breaking a hole big enough for her hand to fit.

Cautiously placing her hand inside the hole, she felt glass lightly cut onto her skin.

She didn't want to finish breaking the window, because it might alarm everyone else in the building and by far the only ones she knew in there were Jungwon and Jake.

She bit her lip as she pulled the lock of the window, taking her hand out quickly and pushing it open.

Feeling the blood drop down her wrist, she grimaced.

Angelica took a good look around, her eyes widening once she spotted Jake on the floor.

"Psst! Jake!" She quietly called out to him but he didn't notice.

She placed one of her legs in first and then the other, sitting on the window sill.

Letting out a nervous breath, she tightly held on to the hilt, pushing herself inside the room, swiftly landing on her feet.

She felt a light pain on her ankle but dismissed it as the adrenaline was getting to her.

Running over to Jake, she softly tapped his cheek.

"Jake." She said softly and he opened his eyes to look at her.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

"What the fuck are YOU doing here?"

He stayed quiet as he didn't know what to say.

He didn't know if it had been hours or minutes since he was asleep.

She quickly stood up and walked towards the door.

"Always bring your silencer with you." Sunghoon said as he gave one to her.

"Why?"

"Because you never know when you'll need it. Plus it's cool as fuck. It's so much fun." He said as if it was obvious.

She checked inside her jacket for the silencer, feeling it in her pocket, she almost laughed in delight as she quickly put it on her gun.

"Your advice isn't always useless." She whispered to herself as she aimed the gun with the new weight added.

"This is the room where he was supposed to be." Angelica said as she looked around.

"I saw him. He was here." Jake said as he stood from the floor.

"Was he okay?" She hurriedly asked and Jake shrugged with a disappointed shake of his head.

"I don't know, I saw him through the door. He was laying on the floor."

They suddenly heard the sound of a speaker being adjusted.

They quickly looked around and up to the corners.

"Wow! My two main players are finally here! I knew you'd show up to the rescue girlie." Mr. Park excitedly said over a speaker. "I can't just give him to you... You owe me something."

"I don't owe you anything. Give him back."  Angelica angrily said as she looked around trying to find the speaker.

"Oh but you do. You owe me a shot."

"What the fuck do you mean?"

"A gunshot at your back, just like you did to me." He said with a small laugh.

Angelica suddenly burst out in loud giggles as she shook her head with a small sigh.

"What are you? A fucking moron? What makes you think I would let you do that?" She laughed as she ran a hand through her hair.

"Than I'll have to do it to Sunghoon." He said angrily.

"Oh, he's angry." Angelica mocked as she shook her head one more time.

Jake looked at her in shock as she was somehow provoking him.

"Angie stop." He warned as he walked closer to her.

"Yeah listen to your friend girlie. You don't know what I'll do."

"I know what you'll do. I have your bitch ass all figured out." She said confidently with a smile.

"Of course Dolly I believe you." Mr. Park let out a laugh as he seemed to be feeling slightly threatened.

"You're gonna make a bet with us now. You're going to say something like 'If you let me shoot you I'll let Sunghoon go home, but if you don't let me shoot you, I'll shoot him and you go home'." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'm glad you know that."

"I'll take none of the bets."

"So I can shoot him and you won't care?"

Angelica sighed as she looked down at the floor.

"You won't shoot him. You never will."

Mr. Park laughed at her, his voice almost cracking.

"What the fuck are you talking about? Is that a dare?"

"You kept him guarded because you want him to think he's incapable. You act like a fucking child trying to prove that they are better by cheating his way through. You couldn't stand that he still came out to be a better person than you even after all the shit you put him through. Right?"

The line went quiet for a second but Mr. Park let out a scoff.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"You don't want him to strive and become the better person you've always wanted to be.  You want him around forever don't you? So you can continuously destroy him, making him follow your footsteps. Make him worse than you so that you have something to feel good about. You're obsessed with keeping him around so that you feel like less of a shitty crazy bitch!" She screamed angrily as she emphasized the last few words.

Jake stared at the floor as everything was really starting to make sense.

"Well... That might be true. But it might not. I want him around.. because he is MY son, who is supposed to obey me. I love him." He tried to sound convincing.

Angelica let out a breath in disbelief.

"Okay fine I don't. But I don't think he is better than me. Because no one will ever be better than me." He laughed loudly.

"That's not what your ex-wife said."
