She walked into the meeting room, immediately spotting Sunghoon who only smirked at her.

Her cheeks felt hot as she looked at the other guys in the room who stared at Sunghoon in mild shock as they hadn't seen him smile as much as when she was in the room.

"Hey guys." She said softly as she sat across from Sunghoon.

"Hey Angie." Jake spoke as he smiled at her, the other guys waving at her.

"Hey Daisy."

Their eyes met for a second and she felt like she was laying directly in front of a heater.

She couldn't hear the nickname the same way anymore as she now knew that he wasn't just calling her short this whole time.

He called her that nickname the first day they dated and continued calling her that throughout the years.

Even her name on his phone was saved under 'My Daisy.'

And she just thought it was only because it was a small flower, which is still beautiful, but she didn't know he meant all the other things as well.

"So what did you call us here for again?" Angelica quickly said, avoiding Sunghoon's eyes and looking over at Jay.

Sunghoon shook his head in amusement and smiled looking down at the table, pretending to look at a paper.

"He sent something. To my office. I don't know why because the letter is directed at Sunghoon." Jay said in a hurry as he placed the letter in the center of the table.

All of their eyes went towards it and Jake was the first one to grab it.

His hands were shaking as he read the letter.

"You are my son.  A child and a wife won't change the fact that you are forever and always tied to me. And you will realize that soon. Why the fuck is he such a creep?" Jake read as he furrowed his eyebrows.

Sunghoon glared at his hands as he played with his ring.

Angelica looked at him in worry as she wondered what exactly he was thinking.

She was angry as well, but she was more scared than anything.

He knows about our baby? How does he know about our baby?

"What the fuck does 'soon' mean?" Jungwon said as he stood from the chair, running a hand through his hair.

"I don't know but whatever he means we need to be ready." Heeseung said as he looked down at the table.

"If he sent people to shoot at you in the convenience store, they must have been following you guys for a while." Jake said as the others nodded in agreement. "So we just need to keep a look out for him."

"I'm tired of keeping a look out. Let's get him now." Sunghoon said as he crossed his arms.

"I don't think that would be a good idea." Jay said softly as he stiffened noticing the way Sunghoon furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why wouldn't that be a good idea?" He questioned as he looked at him directly.

"I don't think it's the right time-"

"Well when is the right fucking time? Because I don't see your 'confident policemen' asses doing shit." Sunghoon snapped as he glared at Jay. "He's gotten away so many times because of your incompetent asses."

"The police hasn't been able to catch him for years. He's experienced in many fields." Jay answered and Sunghoon rolled his eyes.

"I don't understand why the fuck I decided to trust the stupid police.." He mumbled to himself as he stood from his chair.

"Sunghoon I don't think we should-" Jake started as he stood up to go after him.

"Sunghoon!" Angelica called after him, making him stop at the door. "Where are you going?"

"We all know the places he's at. I'm doing something about it. Like we should've done months ago." He said pointedly at Jay who only looked away.

Angelica stood up and walked towards him, holding his hand softly.

"Didn't we agree we wouldn't waltz into dangerous situations anymore?"

Sunghoon sighed softly and looked down at the floor.

"I don't know what else to do." He almost whispered as he shook his head, running a hand through his hair.

She looked at the guys and signaled for them to wait, pulling Sunghoon out of the room and walking down the hall to his office.

After closing the door behind them, Angelica softly grabbed his cheeks and made him look at her.

"Let's think it through together Bubs." She stated as she rubbed his cheek with her thumb.

He looked at her for a second and leaned his forehead against hers, closing his eyes as he took a deep breath.

He felt like crying and screaming all together.

The word 'Soon' was making him panic more than usual and he knew that he would've done something irrational if Angelica hadn't called his name.

"What the fuck does 'soon' mean?" He repeated Jungwon's words quietly. "I don't like that word. It's uncertain and I don't like uncertainty. I despise it."

"He's trying to mess with your head. He's trying to make you make rash decisions so that he can grab you at your weakest." Angelica whispered as she thought about it.

He mentioned the child to strike a nerve and worded things to make it seem like Sunghoon was like him.

He was doing these things to scare them more. Make them act out of their way so that they are caught and killed easier.

"But what if he really is going to do something?"

"Then we'll be prepared for it."

"But I don't want to wait for him. For once, I don't want to live in fear Angie." He said as he pulled away pacing around the room.

"If we take our time, it's gonna make him have extra time. What if one day he decides to show up and we're not prepared? What are we going to do then huh? What if he comes back in two months? Two years? Six?" He panicked as he looked up at the ceiling.

Angelica looked down at the floor as she understood what he meant.

What if they stay waiting for him for years on end, never expecting anything when he actually does do something.

After all, he did wait 6 years to make an appearance in their lives again.

"Aren't the police working on it?"

Sunghoon only deadpanned at her and she tilted her head admitting he was right.

"Well yeah, they never do shit." She answered herself as she sat down on his chair.

They went quiet as Sunghoon continued to pace around the room with his arms crossed over his chest.

Angelica stared up at the ceiling as she opened a granola bar she found on Sunghoon's desk.

He looked at her and couldn't help but chuckle in disbelief.

"Seriously?"

"What? I didn't eat anything before I came here." She giggled and Sunghoon walked over to her, sitting on her lap making her groan. "You're heavy!"

"No I'm not."

She placed her arm around his waist as he leaned his temple against hers.

"What am I going to do?" He sighed as he had a glazed look on his face.

"Whatever we can Buba. We're going to do whatever we can." Angelica breathed as she looked at the door with a small worried frown of her own.
