The news of the deaths spread like wild fire throughout the pack. While some were afraid, others were angry.

A Luna for a pack is very important. The Luna helps keep the pack happy, balanced and helps ease their wolves who crave for another figure to look up to apart from the alpha. While Taehyung is not in any way motherly, the pack still treasures him as their Luna and their head alpha's mate, thus, the threat on the Luna's life had majority of the pack seething in anger.

Shaded Moon Pack was by no means a weak pack, having the reputation for being one of the most strongest packs out there. Naturally, they were ready for a fight. And right now, all the pack members wanted to do was counter attack. Bloodlust Pack needs to learn that they shouldn't mess with Shaded Moon pack.

The funeral was held yesterday and it was one of the most emotional experiences because the pack didn't only lose two lives, it also lost a young soul. The little girl was very loved by the pack members, as all young pups were precious for the pack. Taehyung had stayed by Jungkook's side during the funeral, not saying a word.

The pack members had assured both the Alpha and Luna that it wasn't their fault, as they could feel the sadness and guilt emitting from their Luna.

Jungkook understood how Taehyung felt and he also understood that Taehyung was blaming himself. Even though he knew it wasn't Taehyung's fault, he still understood why the trueblood thought it was.

Taehyung naturally didn't want to cause any harm, and since the Bloodlust Pack was after him, he thought it was his fault that two wolves had lost their life to his enemy.

Jungkook was just waiting for the right time to talk to Taehyung, mostly because Jungkook had a gut feeling that Taehyung may be planning something stupid. Like surrendering to the Bloodlust Pack.

Jungkook would, in no circumstances, ever allow that to happen. He wasn't going to lose his mate to the enemy, not when he knows why the enemy wants Taehyung in the first place.

Jungkook politely excused himself from the small gathering that was held in the dining room, and quietly made his way to his bedroom, where Taehyung was.

Opening the door, he saw Taehyung lying on the bed. Taehyung had a far-off look in his eyes. Jungkook sighed softly, making his way to sit beside Taehyung.

'Tae?', Jungkook spoke, gently placing his hand on Taehyung's cheeks.

Taehyung seemed to break free from whatever trance he was in and smiled back, rather weakly.

'How are you feeling?', Jungkook asked, lifting a finger to swipe a piece of hair behind Taehyung's ear.

Taehyung bit his lips as he stared at his mate. He knew Jungkook could feel his emotions so lying wasn't really a good idea right now.

'I-I feel, I don't know Angel. I just-', Taehyung voiced out, his voice hitching slightly as his emotions got the best of him.

Truth be told, Taehyung hated feeling like this. He hated the guilt he felt, he hated the helplessness he felt and he hated that he was still scared of his own father.

Jungkook gently smiled before pulling Taehyung into a warm hug. The trueblood sighed in the embrace of his mate, feeling his heart slightly settle as he took in the calming scent of Jungkook.

'Tae', Jungkook said as he loosened his grip, breaking free from the hug, 'We'll get through this. We will come up with a plan and we will make sure no one gets hurt okay?'

Taehyung nodded, still uncertain. Jungkook could still feel the uncertainty as he softly smiled.

'Just- Just please don't get any stupid ideas like giving yourself up. I can't live without you Tae. I refuse to live without you', Jungkook whispered the last part, his voice cracking a little.

Taehyung looked lovingly at his mate. He could feel the fear that Jungkook felt. The fear of losing each other. He felt the same way. He couldn't lose Jungkook.

'I won't angel. I promise. I won't give myself up without a fight.'

The words were reassuring, making Jungkook's heart ease as he smiled his big bunny smile.

Cute, Taehyung thought to himself.

'Thank you Angel', Taehyung gently caressed his mate's cheek, looking fondly into those beautiful doe eyes. Jungkook's eyes were his favourite features. His eyes contained galaxies, like it was the night sky but full of stars. They sparkled so bright.

'For what Tae?', Jungkook tilted his head as he leaned into the warm carress of Taehyung's hand.

'For accepting me,' Taehyung whispered ever so lowly. 'For making me feel what love is. I-I love you my little bunny.'

Jungkook stared wide eyed at his mate. Love. Taehyung said he loved him.

'Y-you love m-me?', Jungkook stuttered, still unable to believe that he heard that right.

Taehyung smiled, the way Jungkook looked right now was so fucking precious. His mate really looked like an adorable bunny. A very precious adorable bunny.

'Yes love. I love you. I have loved you for a long time, before I even shifted into my human form'

Jungkook gasped. So he wasn't the only one who fell in love at the same time. Jungkook pressed their lips together into a gentle kiss. There wasn't any lust, just simply passionate love. The love that they felt for each other all thrown into that one kiss.

'I love you too,' Jungkook said breathlessly. 'I love you so fucking much it hurts'

Taehyung hugged his mate tightly, just enjoying the warmth that radiated from his lover's body.

They had finally confessed. It was the right time to do as well, considering how the Bloodlust Pack had started the war against them. For now, at this very moment, all the two mates wanted to do was just enjoy each other's company, hearts filled with love and mind free of any worries. They just wanted to feel at peace with the one they loved.

'Is the next plan ready?', A brown haired man asked, looking at his fellow companions. There were 5 of them, 3 of which were in their wolf form, while 2 remained in their human form.

'Yes, the plan is ready. When do we strike?', the second man answered, smirking a little.

'In 2 days. Remember not to leave any loose ends. We don't want the trueblood going into bloodlust. We won't be able to control him. Even the head alpha will not be able to control him', the brown haired man responded, his eyes twinkling as he imagined the terror they had prepared for the trueblood.

'Don't worry. We'll make sure to leave there with the trueblood's mate. As long as we have him, the trueblood will be in our control.', the second man replied.

His hands itched to get a hold of the trueblood's mate. He had heard of many rumors about Alpha Jungkook's beauty and strength. Oh how satisfying it would feel to watch the alpha break in front of him.

'Yeah. We need to get this done. The head alpha will have our heads if we fail.', the brown haired man sneered. He hated the trueblood. It was the trueblood's fault why their head alpha went even more berserk than he already was. In return, the pack had suffered.

'Yes Bogum. We will get the Trueblood and his mate. We will get our revenge.'
