The aftermath of the small war wasn't at all that satisfying. Standing in a field of dead bodies, all which were the result of a pissed off trueblood, Jungkook couldn't help but sigh at the unsatisfying way all this ended.

Don't get him wrong. He was happy their enemy met his demise. But his wolf and him were itching for more bloodshed.

The thing with Jungkook is that he hardly gets to enjoy this side of the world. Being a pack leader means he had to be clear headed, try to avoid war and bloodshed. Now that the opportunity had presented itself on a silver platter, jungkook expected more action.

Taehyung on the other end was satisfied. He was satisfied that he had taken care of the threat that lingered on his mate and that was enough for him.

He also knew what was going through Jungkook's mind. Their mate bond was open, and Taehyung could hear every thought that Jungkook had.

So with that thought in mind, he walked up to his mate and hugged him from behind.

This was the first time he had used that endearment and he absolutely loved Taehyung's reaction to it.

'Joonie Hyung, Change of plans. We are going to annihilate a few covens of witches ', he yelled cheerily, almost giddy with happiness.

Namjoon, who was getting ready to head back to the pack groaned. Ofcourse. This was the trueblood and his psychotic mate. Ofcourse they were not done.

Looking over at where Alpha chanyeol stood, he gritted out in a clipped tone," Alpha Chanyeol, it seems like we may have found use for your army after all. Let's hunt some witches down yeah?'

Alpha Chanyeol, who was still trying to process the events of the day just nodded, still dazed.

Jungkook didn't feel any ounce of sympathy or regret, taking in the number of bodies that they had destroyed, the catastrophe that they had bought down on this coven.

For the first time ever since meeting his mate, Jungkook was feeling elevated, satisfied and secure.

The biggest threat that was Alpha Kim Kang had been destroyed, along with the witches who had a part in causing them misery, so for sure, Jungkook was very happy indeed.

Taehyung watched his mate fondly, astonished at the numerous emotions that could be seen on Jungkook's face.

He could feel Jungkook's emotions, could feel just how happy Jungkook was.

And he couldn't ask for anything more. What he had now was more than enough. It was enough.

Namjoon sighed at the destruction they had caused. Well, most of it was the doing of Taekook but still, the destruction that he had been a part of.

Even though he should probably feel empathy or even a little bit of guilt, he didnt.

Because looking at the trueblood and his mate, he could tell that it was all worth it.

All this bloodshed was worth it.

Taehyung was looking at Jungkook ever so fondly, with so much love and Jungkook, he was radiating with happiness.

Yeah, all this bloodshed was definitely worth it if it means that Taekook would be happy now.

They will be happy.
