Chapt 27: Don't tease me

Camilo pov:

I few days pass and Y/N always teases me "I lie hu-" yea I can't even pronounce in my head. What does it even mean?? Ugh..

I was getting hungry so I went to the kitchen. I see Y/N brewing green tea for my Mami. I smile and walk to them and tap their shoulder. They jumped and looks at me with wide eyes. They're so cuuttee "Ugh. What do you want?" They say while pouring the tea in a cup "Woah~ no need for the attitude. Just wanted a snack" I say while raising my hands indicating I'm in defeat

"What? Are you gonna eat me?" They say chuckling. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion not getting the I think.. joke? "What?" I say in confusion. They looked at me and widens their eyes when they noticed I'm confused. They immediately turned red and turn their head away from me and grabs an arepa and shoves it in my mouth "Why so red again~" I tease them. They softly kick my ankle and quickly adds some stuff to a basket filled with goods

"You're going to Fionas house right? Deliver them for me, Hormoso" They say as they hand me the basket. Gosh they were heavy- or I'm just weak. They go back to the counter and hand me two areas "You can never eat just one arepa, so here" They say as they took my hand and placed the two arepas "Its not too heavy, ey?" they assure me "Oh no no. Besides I can shapeshift" I say to them "Don't shapeshift that much or you'll be having a moment" They say as they place their hand on my shoulder "I'm finee" I say to them. They nod and kissed my cheek "Do you like me?" I questioned them again "I like you. even, love you" they tease me in their language again "Oh come on.. Don't tease me like that" I groan as I went off. Gosh I need to study some words or so

I arrived at Fionas house which was one of a friend of mine. She sometimes help me with her younger siblings but we're not that close. I knock on the door and it opens. The kids came rushing on me and immediately jumped on me. Almost making me unbalanced, I hear Fiona shooing off her siblings "Shoo shoo! Hugo, Diego, Mico get off! I'm so sorry for that Cami'" She says helping me to get my balance back "Oh! Oh! Is that my panutsa nuts!" One of the kids say while tiptoing to see the basket

"Oh is that the basket filled with goods? Here let me help you" She says holding the other handle close to my hand "Well if you insist" I say while we walk to the table and placed the basket on it. I stretch my back and Fiona starts to check it "Fiona! Fionaa! I want panustaa nutss" Hugo whined. Fiona hands them a taperware of nuts covered in panutsa. Ugh I'm still hungry. 3 areas can't even cover my hunger "Camilo! Let's go outside! " Mico tug me while eating the panutsa nuts. I nod and waved Fiona goodbye.

We went outside and the 3 were going to Y/Ns house. They knock on the window and revealed Miguel opening the curtain slightly. Miguel close the blinds again and went out to the door "Hey guys! What are you doing?" He asks "I don't really know.. but we can play hopscotch!" Mico requested they all nod and started to get a pebble.

I lean on a close wall and just gaurd them. I'm still trying to figure out what "I lie I evs" yea I give up on trying to even pronounce it.. How will I.. Ofcoures Miguel! Miguel knows Y/N's mother tongue! or father tongue idk. I walk towards Miguel and crouched beside him "He Miguel, buddy. Do you know what Y/N is saying whenever they speak their language?" I question him "Mhm..? Why?" He asks back. Trying to prepare the question and trying to not make a fool of myself on pronouncing it wrong but.. worth a shot "I was wondering what I.. like you..? Even love you?? means" I ask him. I don't even know if I pronounce that right. He furrows his eyebrows on translating the sentence. He looks at me "I think it means. I like you. Even love you" He says to me. I feel blood rushing on my cheeks. Miguel was called by Diego and waved me good bye and started his round.

They.. like me?.. heck, even love me

At that moment I see Y/N delivering a basket to a lady. I see them waving her goodbye and Then Y/N notices me staring at them.

I quickly look back at the kids, thinking they did not notice me staring. I feel a presence beside me and it was Y/N "Hola Camilo. Taking care of Mr. Remundos kids?" They asks "Of course. Always" I chuckle. They just look at me well not in the eyes but on the lips..

They grab my hand which was fiddling on my lips and intertwined their fingers with mine. I didn't even notice that I was fiddling with my lips. They drag my hand on their lips and just let is rest it there.

"What's bothering you, hm?" They suddenly ask. I feel my cheeks softly heat up and I smiled at them "Do you like me?" I ask them again

"I like you. Even love you"
"I like you. Even love you"

We both said at the same time. Their eyes widens in shock on how I know "Told ya' don't tease me, princess~" I tease them. I see their cheeks quickly turn red on what I said. I didn't even know what I said. But still it felt like butterflies in my stomach or in their stomach.

I chuckle and gave them a peck on the lips. I pull away from the hand intertwining and stood up and played with Miguel and the other children.
I notice Y/N still having a malfunction from what I said. I giggle from the look of their face.

Still.. I love them.
