Chapt 32: Droplets

3rd pov:

It was a sunny afternoon and you helped Camilo do his chores.
After doing his last chore he stretched "Oh come on, it wasn't that heavy" you point out. Camilo rolls his eyes and chuckled "Well try carrying bundles even if you shapeshift into a strong person" He says. You guys then head to Casita but droplets of rain fell. You both look up and it started growing.

You both seek shelter from a roof at a shop. You think on whats making it rain then click "Your mom likes that book huh?" You say to Camilo. Camilo looks at you and smiled and looked back at the sky "Yep.. well maybe too much that she cries over all the chapters" he joked.

The rain wasn't too heavy, but it was a soft drizzle. So you didnt get scared as much. You start to hum a tune (Any tune if you like) and swayed while waiting for the rain to stop. You noticed Camilo bopping his head on the tune. You stop humming and Camilo notices "What'd stop humming?" He asks as he looks at you.

You thought of something and went out to the rain. You see Camilo in surprise. You feel as your head is getting wet, shoulder soaked, and your palms with droplets of water. You smile and splashed Camilo some water "Hey!" He says as he chuckles. You walk in front of him and held his hands "Would you like to take this dance, malady?" You joked. Camilo laughs and turned into you "Well of course, I do" He says in your voice. You both laughed and Camilo stepped out of the shade.

His curls lowered from the wetness and twirled around while his ruana followed him. You both laughed and ran and twirled around the rain. Camilo stopped and you notice so you stopped too. Camilo took off his ruana and walked towards you. He puts the ruana on you. You raise your brow in confusion "You have to cover that chest a bit" He says as he pats his chest. Blood rush in your cheeks and you softly punch Camilos arm.

Camilo laughs and he puts one hand on your waist and the other grabs your hand. You blush and giggled. You start to hum again and Camilo leads you to dance. You chuckle as you hum and you both dance in the rain.

It was majestic. Droplets of rain sprinkled your hair as you both twirled. Camilos curls were dripping wet and it follows as you both dance. It feels like a dream. Your stomach filled with fluttering butterflies and laughter from both of you and Camilo.

At some point you slip from a puddle. Camilo tried to grab you but fall too. You groan, and see Camilo kneeling. You look at each other and laughed. You were both soaking wet, on the ground, laughing at each other.

You stood up and you help Camilo. You see some of his caramel skin from his soaking almost see through polo. You feel your cheeks heat up and you immediately look away.

"Come on, we'll get sick" You say as you head to Casita "Are you gonna head your home, Bonita?" He asks as he squeezes his hair to squeeze out the liquid. Rain was still pouring but you look down "Yeah, but I'm walking you home" You say as you squeeze his ruana "Wow.. I thought Im supposed to be walking you home?" He says in a sarcastic way tone. You chuckle "Well sometimes the 'Fem' has to be the 'butch' for once" You say as you also squeezed your skirt. You both arrived at Casita. You were about to take off the ruana but Camilo stopped you "You can keep that. I have lots dont worry" He says as he waves off good bye. You wave back, as your cheeks grow soft pink.

You walk back home and the rain softens and disappeared. You feel a smile form and just shrugged it off. You arrived home and open the door "Y/N? Oh my! Are you okay? Your soaking wet! Come on dry off, you're gonna get a cold" Your mother say as she lead you to the bathroom. You finished taking a shower and dry off "Is this Camilos?" Your mother says as she brought out Camilos ruana with a smirk. You turn red and groaned "It was for protecting circumstances" You say as you fiddled your hands. Your mom laughed and went back down stairs.

Camilo pov:

I went in Casita to see my mom crying over that book again. My dad sees me and rushed towards me "Ah, Mijo! Your soaking wet!" My dad exclaimed grabbing a towel and toss it on my head "AUGHH.. JUNNN WHY DID YOU DID THAT TO CARMELITAAAA" I hear my mom groan. My dad shook his head while laughing "Oh? Wheres your ruana?" He asked while he puts another towel over my shoulder "Well Y/N got soaked to soo.." I say and I see my dad grin "Ohh, my boy is all grown up" he says while fake crying "My baby did what!?" I hear my mom say as she rush to me.

She squealed and a rainbow immediately appeared on her head. She hugged me and twirled me around "AAAHHH MY CAMILO IS GROWING UPPP!!" She cried. I groan and she lets go from the hug and I went to my room to dry up
