"Please june why won't you tell me"
I look at him explaining how he will never look at me the same way. I turn and run in tears hoping day does not follow me.

After i get close to my apartment i start to walk. I enjoy walking especially now since it has that cool breeze.

I want to tell day everything. But i don'y want him to suffer like when i saw the hurt in his eyes everytime he looked at me.

I want him to look at me with no regret. With no sorrow. With happiness like right now but i know he will not have full happiness either if i keep this secret away from him. The mystery he must have from his mother and john.

The day his mother was killed was one of the worst days. There i saw commander jammeson and thomas. Thomas pulled the trigger and that's when i saw day's mom just collapse.

The day john was killed. He took the bullets that were meant for day. He saved day but he died on the way. None of this was suppose to happen. All of this was meant was supposed to be spent in happiness right?

I wish that life wasn't so difficult. That all the sorrow went away.

I go inside of my apartment and i go straight to bed not even looking at the time.

I have a dream.
I meet day he isn't in the slums but rather he's with me at drake. We have every class together and the day we first met was just pure happiness. We are both prodigy's in the same class. How ironic. We hang out a lot and metias seems to be okay with him. Ollie always gets excited when day comes over. He gets close to day and jumps on him. Day sets ollie next to him and pets him. We don't usually visit his house so one day i ask him. "It's because we don't really live like you. We have less opportunities and i don't think you'll like my place."
"Of course i will i won't judge you or anything."
"Okay wanna come over tomorrow after school?"
"Sure tomorrow it is"
We shake on it and we go to our own houses.
I go to metias and ask if i can go to day's house he agrees to letting me go.

I tell him in our last class that metias said yes. We walk to his house and it's a little run down but that doesn't matter. I see john and eden but not his mom. "Where are your parents's"
"Well my mom will be home soon and my dad... well my dad can't make it."
I understand what he means by his dad and nod.
Eden looks around tenish ninish. He looks like he might go into the trials soon. John looks so much like day but only a little older. He smiles as he notices me staring at him.

Day's mom comes home and hugs each and every one of them. She gets to me and asks if i'm day's friend. I nod and i feels her hugging me. I hug back. It feels so warm to be in day's moms hands almost as if she was my mom.

It's time for me to get home and i start to leave when day's mom tells day that he should walk me home. He agrees and heads out with me. We have a normal conversation and we get to my house. "So i guess see you tomorrow"
Before i can react i feel him kiss me. I kiss back and i smile when we pull apart. He smiles and waves bye. I go inside and have the biggest grin on my face. "Whoa what's up with you junebug." I go up to metias and playfully hit him on the shoulder. That's when i wake up.

I know i need to tell day the truth about his mom and his brother.
I begin to write a note and off i go to day's apartment.
