After champion

Day

I charge at the old man known as the president and surprisingly he dodges my tackle with ease.

"You are going to have to do better than that if you want to get to me!" He yells at me and from his sides i see two big men change at me. They try to get my arms but i dodge them by jumping over their bald heads. Once i jump over they look confused. I wouldn't be surprised considering they look like doofuses by their looks.

I grab their heads and slam them against each other with as much force as i can. You could even hear the clack their heads made when they hit each other. They both hold their heads until they turn and look at each other. They get and evil grin and try to charge at me again. I get to the edge and wait until they charge. I know if i do not dodge in time then i will die but if i do they will fall off the building leaving me and the president on the building.

They start getting by the edge of the building. They run at full force and i almost fall but i move out of the way just in time. I see them fall off. The yell some curse words out at me but i don't care. I know that once they touch the floor they are gone.

"I guess i'll have to do it my way then!" The president yells at me before throwing a punch. I stumble a little before regaining my balance again. I stand up and look at him with a death glare. We start a full on rumble on the top of the building. One wrong move and either me or him will fall to our deaths.

I sweep kick him and he falls hard on the ground. He starts to bleed on the side of his head and doesn't seem to mind it. He ignores it and continues. He tries to get me and knee me in my gut but i know better than to get close. I remember i have a gun but i decide to keep a fair fight. As long as he does i will too.

We fight for what seems like hours until he decides that the fair fight is over. He takes out a knife and gets close to me. He runs towards me knife in hand and tries to aim for my neck. I use all my strength to pin him down. I put my knee on his chest and try to get my gun. With that he gets the chance to stab me on my side. I groan in pain but i try to ignore it as it is the least of my problems. He tries to hit the knife multiple times in order to cause more pain but once i draw the gun out he stops and his face goes pale. I stand up from his chest and tell him to stand up.
He obeys as i say and stands up and puts his hands up in the air. I get closer to him ask him something. I point the gun at his head and ask him.

"What is our motto in the republic?" I say in a serious tone.
"Umm it's ling live the republic" he says so terrified.
"That's right and you messed with the wrong person" i tell him. Before i can push him he grabs me and turns me to look at the ground below.
"You see this, this is your faith it's not living!" He says laughing as hard as he can.

Before he laughs any longer i grab him and throw him off. Since he still is grabbing me i almost fall. I dangle from the building and he is at my feet. I kick him until he finally lets go.

"Fool you think you really won?!!" Those were the last words i heard him say.

I try and regain my breathe. I feel proud. I look down to look for my gun and see it isn't there anymore. I shrug it off and decide to look around the building. I spot something and see someone on the ground. They try to get up but fail. I look closer and it's june. I try to get down from the building as fast as i can. I get close to her. She looks terrible she looks beat up. I get closer to her and see her leg is bleeding. Anden doesn't look any better. He seems unconscious on june's arms. I try to help june walk to a building. She walks slowly and almost falls. I feel weird having the elector hang by my shoulder. I set both of them down by a building. I hear words that i do not want to hear.

"Day you did it you really did it. I saw you. You almost died." She says in a very weak voice.
"I don't feel so strong anymore. I've been thrown so many times i feel like it's affecting my head. Please if anything happens me and you will always stick together. Me and you forever. Lately i've been forgetting things. I forget to call anden just anden. That's not me. I'm forgetting. Remember our promise. I don't want to lose you. Day before i go i want you to know I truly love you" she ends with those words. Those are her last words before she closes her eyes. I try to wake her up but it's no use i can't.

"June, june come on junebug. Please don't leave me. Please don't forget. Please just please. June i love you please don't leave me." I say those words in a whisper. My eyes start to tear up. I can't hold it anymore. I let myself cry while hugging june. Anden wakes up by the commotion.
"Day what's wrong. Why is june not moving?" He starts getting concerned.
"Anden i don't know she's going away. I don't know if she'll make it." I say still sobbing while hugging june.

"We need to get to the plane now. The bomb if bound to go off in ten minutes. We have to move if we want to makes it out of here alive." He shakes his head. He looks so weak but still manages to get up. We run and amazingly he runs and runs with no problem. I find pascao and james and tell them to run. They see me holding june and i just say later. I see anden about to faint.

"Grab him and keep running." They nod and pick him up and run.

"Where are we running to?!" Pascao yells.
"To the plane! We only have two minutes!" He nods and we run faster. No matter how tired we are we keep going.

"Start the plane move it" i yell about fifty feet away. Everyone starts to yell at the pilot and he starts it. The Plane moves and pascao and james make it with anden. I lag a little behind. I hear explosions coming my way. I hand them june and the plane door starts to close.

"Hurry!!" Tess yells at me and i boost with all my strength and barely make it onto the plane.

"Woohooo!!!" Everyone yells and i just look at june who is just here. Laying lifeless.
