The words soon to be married replayed in my mind over and over as we made our way to the office. I can't believe it. Hw already has it planned on being married. On actually being wife and husband. I smile at the thought
"Okay have your guns ready" we nod and i grab my gun and aim it at the door ready for anyone who might threaten us. Day turns the doorknob and there we see the president.
"Well well who do we have here. We have day the prodigy pascao and james." The president says with a smirk.
"How may i assist you? Rebels."
How does he already know that we want to get rid of him. I mean me is understandable but day pascao and james how can he already know?
"You know you will be no use of assistance considering you are the one who started the war." Day says bitterly.
"Oh but i think i will. You see i know about the rebels i know that all four of you are trying to overthrow me and that you guys think that the elector will do a better job than me running MY country. Think again foolish children."
From the back i hear movement. I turn around and see the jerk. The one who decided to capture me. He starts to laugh but i keep my serious face.
"All three of you are so foolish you guys know that?" He makes his way to the side of the president.
"All of you ran right into my trap. The captures i planned everything was just a plan. Yes we are at war and yes we have a bomb but we never thought of using it. We just had it as a distraction from the leader of the republic. The elector." He smiles and through the door anden is held by two guys. He looks in horrible condition. His hair is dirty and all over the place. His face looks bruised. He has even more bruises on his arms. He doesn't look like anden anymore. He looks like just someone who got in a really bad fight.
"How did you guys get anden?" I ask with anger but a little bit of sorrow. Who knows what they did to anden while they captured him. He meant no bad intentions. He always wants what is best for the republic. He always puts people in front of him before himself and he gets repaid like this. He doesn't deserve any of this.
"Well that was part of the plan. When we captured you we knew day would try to rescue you so we rethought our plan. We made it look a little bit tough but easy to escape. Once you guys got out we decided to go and capture tess. We knew that eden would fight for tess so we were prepared to take him too. We knew you guys would try to rescue them in any way possible. I made it noticeable when day saw me go to the corner so i could get him in a room alone. I had hear talking in the cell and they have microphones you know? So we heard you say you were june and again we captured you. We put james here who is also a rebel for his kind heart and we could tell that you would aim for the president. Your plans failed when you left your precious elector alone. He couldn't fend for himself but he sure did make a good fight. For about two minutes" he laughs and so does the president.
They throw anden to us and he motions me to go closer to him.
"Tell then to release the bomb in forty-five minutes" anden says in a whisper that i can barely hear.
"As you say elector" i say in a smile
"June call me anden remember" he says in a smile before he collapses
