After champion

Day

I wake up. I think i fell asleep while on the ride home. I look around and see if june or nat are awake. They both look knocked out. I see nat still holding his parachute. Isn't that adorable. I look at june and see her i smile. Except that smile fades when i see a wet streak from her eyes to her cheeks. She's been crying but she's asleep. I hug her tighter and i see more tears falling from her eyes. I look at her deciding whether or not to wake her up. She might be thinking of her family and i know if i dreamed of them i too would cry and would not want anyone to wake me up. I put my chin on top of june's head and try to go back to sleep. I was so close to sleep until i heard june softly crying. I wake up and hug her.
"Why is it so hard?" June whispers that it's just heard.
I kiss her on her head and hug her tighter. She starts to cry more. i answer her question. I already know what she means.
"I don't know but hey look at me"
She looks up at me like a helpless puppy.
"You still have me tess and eden. You can still meet metias and your parents again. You just have to stay strong and when the time comes it'll come. Don't rush it."
She smiles and nods. She kisses me and lies down on my chest again.
"How did you deal with it day? How did you accept that your parents and brother were dead. How did you make it look so easy." She says. I tell her the truth.
"It wasn't i always tried to be strong. I would never think of them even though i missed them so dearly. I still do but i have you guys. Your family is never gone. Your family is always in here" i point to my heart.
She smiles.
"Do you regret meeting me?" i smile and kiss her
"I don't regret meeting you one bit." With that she smiles and kisses me.

I wish she was my first kiss and the only person i ever kissed. That would make it so special. Sadly i had kissed someone before i met her. I did have a girlfriend in Antarctica. I broke up with her because i knew she wasn't the one after a while. I broke up with her a week before i left to come to the republic again. We had only been going out for four months anyways. Her name was April. She was beautiful but every time i saw her i would see another girl which turned out to be june and then april again. I thought she was the one but she wasn't. Although i kinda did feel bad for breaking up with april i'm kinda glad or else i would have never asked june to be my girlfriend.

" Okay guys the plane will be landing in fifteen minutes so be ready to arrive."
Me and june just nod. We check to see if nat is asleep. He's still asleep clutching that parachute almost as if it were his life source. I look at june who is already looking at me smiling. We're going to prank nat.
We wait until we start descending. We already told the pilot out plane so that way when we start screaming our heads off he doesn't actually crash the plane. We get as close to nat as possible. Then when we get closer to the ground me and june start to scream
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Nat wakes up and starts to scream for dear life.
We start to laugh so hard our sides start to hurt.
"What's so funny? why are you t"
"Oh i see. That was a pretty good joke." But just watch out both of you
"It was you should have seen your face"

As soon as we land i get a call. Unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Hello little boy guess who we have now" the voice one the other side says.
I let go of the phone when i hear who it is. My heart almost sinks to the ground.
I fall and start to hit the floor.
