After champion

Day

The plane finally lands. Tess actually managed to take care of june's leg. She said it wasn't anything too serious to require surgery and she would be just fine. During the whole plane ride june didn't wake up at all. I tried to wake her up when we landed but it failed. I sigh and take her to the hospital.

They take her in and put her in a wheel chair. I try to chase after them but they tell me to go sit down. I don't and run after her but they get three guards to hold me down. After a while i am exhausted and just go and wait. I meet tess, eden, pascao, nat, and anden waiting in the waiting room.

They all look worried.
"So how is she? " Anden asks with a little but of hope or might as well just any type of hope in his eyes.
"I don't know. They won't let me go with her." I say with sorrow. I sit down and just lay back and close my eyes. i think of her last words over and over again. I think of how she might forget everything. I really hope she doesn't. I don't want to lose her again.

"Hey day? You okay?" Anden asks
"Yeah i'm fine just thinking." I say still with my eyes closed.
Anden sighs before he speaks,
"I'm really sorry. I think this is all my fault. I was the one who was tired and she started to carry me. She carried me in order to save me and now she's paying with her life." He sighs and i see a tear come out from his eye. Since i have become close to him i have seen his sensitive side and who he really is. He is not always the strong elector everyone knows. He is still just a person just like everyone else and has feeling.

"Hey it's alright. No one is to blame. If anyone is to blame it should be the jerk and the president." I smile and nudge him with my fist.

I look over and see tess crying.
"Tess it's going to be okay i promise" i smile and hug her. She has really grown to love june as family. I mean she's basically her sister. Even though they had a real rocky start in the beginning when they first met.

"June iparis?" The doctor says as he walk forward. We all look up in anticipation.
"You all here for her?" He asks. We nod our head and he sighs as if delivering bad news.
"I'm afraid i have some bad news. It seems like she has been put in a coma. Another thing is she might have major damage to her head." I remember all the times she had been thrown but one sticks out is when me and nat had thrown her. I look at nat and i find him already staring at me. I guess he must have thought the same thing.

"Well since she is asleep i guess i will let you all go in and see her. I might be breaking the rule but it's the right thing to do since we have all of these celebrities here." We say our thank you and stand.
"Room 303 by the way" the doctor says and we realize we all got up without knowing the room. We nod and go.

I see june there just helpless. I grab her hand and look at her. We all just stand there for what seems like hours until the staff tells us we have to leave. We nod and go. Before i go i go up to june and kiss her on her cheek then i leave.

I come back the same morning and wait. I wait and so does everyone else.
After three weeks anden stops to come daily since he does have a job as the elector. Week four eden does not come daily either as he still has his job at batalla hall. Nat has left when anden left as anden would need protection. Pascao has gone to look for a job to live here. And tess well she works here so she comes by and checks every hour. Me i have stayed here every day until the staff kicks me out. I stay and it all paid off.

I feel june move her hand and she sits up. She looks at me straight in the eyes. She does not have the same eyes i always knew. This time she looks confused.
