Chapter 19

Thx to all of you for the amount of reads that I'm getting. You guys rock! I have a really important skating show this weekend, and practices all week so updates could be slow.

No one's POV

Akio advenced on the people 'protecting' the elven princess. The battle commenced. Akio was surprised at how powerful these warriors were. The halfling was teleporting to soldiers amd hitting them from behind with swords. The infeted one was slashing with her sword. The dawrf was knocking people out with his pickaxe.

The guards weren't nolding to well, but they would soon get tired. They are loyal to the princess. And that wasn't a good thing.

Meanwhile, Rowan was having her own struggle. Every guard she fought, didn't want to hurt her. But they did want to take her. She shot vines at one of the sky guards. The guard tried to use them to pull her back but she let go of the vines. She decided to be a little bit more careful what powers she used.

Kim's POV

I was having trouble fighting these guards. I was fighting but I have a weak spot. I don't want ot kill anybody. And I don't want my friends to get hurt, and I don't want Rowan to leave.

"Kim, watch out!" Duncan yeled. I looked and saw an arrow coming straight at me. I tried to move out of the way but I was to slow. The arrow hit me and I fell to the ground. Then all I remember is blackness.

Hannah's POV

I had been using my witchery skills and defeating guards and warriors. I just started fighting a new guard when I heard something that made me rage.

"Kim! Nooo!" Duncan's voice said. I slashed at the guard and ran towards Duncan. Slashing ruthlessly with my sword. When I reached Duncan I saw that Kim had been shot with a sky guard's arrow. I rushed towards her, absolutly demolishing guards.

Kim was by best friend. If she is dead...she survied death once, but I don't think we'll get off the hook this time. I reached Kim and grasped her hand. The guards were still in battle with everyone.

Duncan's POV

My heart feels like that it had been ripped from my chest and cut open. Kim's body was laying there slowy getting covered in blood.

I didn't know what to do. I was panicing. I looked around as if for an answer and I saw Rowan. She could grow healing plants for her. I ran towards her swinging my swords at guards.

"Rowan, can you come help Kim?" I said. She nodded and said.

"Yea. But I'm having a bit of trouble here. And it will be hard to grow plants without people taking me away."

"I can help." I said leading her to Kim. When we reached her my vision was ubsrtucted with tears. Kim was still laying there, blood still leaking from where the arrow had hit her. Rowan gasped and ran over to her. Two guards tried to take her, but she slasjed her sword and they fell to the floor.

"Hannah. Try the song." I said, whilst Rowan started to grow healing plants. I was fighting off guards that tried to take her when Hannah said,

"I tried that. It doesn't work. I'm sorry." Hannah did look extremly sorry. I told her that it was ok and Rowan started to grow the last healing plant.

Rowan's POV

I was growing the healing plats for Kim. It was draining me of all my energy, but seeing Kim like that made me continue. I was on the last plant. It was 1/4 grown. 1/2 grown, 3/4 grow. Finally fully grown. I picked up the healing flowers and herbs quickly and started to slowly walk towards Kim. I would've gone faster, but I couldn't.

"Here." I told Hannah, handing her the healing things. She smiled weakly and turned to use them. I fell to the ground exhasted. Growing all of those plants took a lot of her energy. Duncan quickly helped her to kim so that she could help Hannah.

Hannah and I were using the plants to try and heal Kim, whilst Duncan was protecting them. While we were helping Kim, Hannah started to sing a song that I didn't reconise. It sounded like,

"I'm blind folded on this crazy ride that is called life, keep trying to make it through the next turn knuckles white andholding tight-t-t." Then a force field apeared in a dome around Kim's body. But it started to fade. Hannah quickly handed me all of the healing plants, clutched a necklace that she was wearing tightly and kept singing.

I stopped in surprise for a moment but hurridly brought my mind back to Kim. I was still tired but Kim was dying, I had to help her even though I was tired. Duncan had gone back through the force field to the battle.

I was about to give up hope and tell them that it was no use when Kim started to open her eyes. I smiled and hurriedly kept up what I was doing. Finally Kim was awake and she was healed. I urged Kim to stay herebut she insited on fighting.

"But your injured." I tried to reason.

"No I'm not. Well not anymore." Kim said standing up.

"Fine." I said and I told Hannah to lower the force field that seperated us and the battle. She did and Kim and I continued the battle. I was soon being helped by Martyn. I was still weak and I was very grateful for his help.
