Chapter 12

So this chapter will be mostly in Kim's POV so yea. Been a day since the message. Btw 440 views!!!! *faints*

Kim's POV

I knew what was going to happen today, I would have my daily 'meeting' with Sjin and I know that this one will be the same of the rest of them. If anything improved. I guard's footsteps could be heard just outside the tower's door. The guard opened the door and said,

"You are to come with me. my request of my master."

"I'm coming. I'm coming." I said with no emotion. I walked towards the guard who, predictably, picked me up and carried me down the usual path to the throne room. Where Sjin would undoubtably be.

"Ah. My flower. Who are you today?" Sjin asked as the guard carried me into the throne room.

"I'd be better if I wasn't here." I spat as the guard stood me on the floor. "And I can walk you know. I don't need to be carried here everyday."

"So," Sjin said completly ignoring my statment, "My love, still believe that you will be saved?Because," Sjin looked around the throne room mockingly, "they don't seem to be here."

"They will come. And for the last time I belong to Duncan, Rythian, Lewis, Hannah, and the rest of my friends. Not you."

"Fine. That is all." Sjin said motioning for a guard to bring me back to my tower. I scowled as the guard picked me up. My eyes shooting daggers at his.

the guard carried me to the tower and closed the door. I heard the familiar click of a lock and I was locked in my tower...again. I sat on my bed looking at the walls. I had nothing to do. I just sat there until I heard something.

"I'm blindfolded on this crazy ride that is called life." I looked around the room and saw no one. Then I locked down and saw that, to my surprise, my necklace was glowing. And I realised that the song was cominjng from Hannah and Zoey who were probably wearing their necklaces too. Then I remembered the lyrics and started to sing.

"I'm blindfolded on this crazy ride that is called life, keep trying to make it through that next turn knuckles white, I'm holing tight-t, so here I go, taking the curve. and I don't ever want it to end, I think of you, and I know I found my strength again. I feel conected, protected, It's like your sitting right with me all the time. You hear me. You're near me-e. And everything else is going to be all right. I was astonded. I could hear Hannah's voice coming from the necklace as I sang. I listened closer and heard that accompanying Hannah's voice, was Zoey's. They remembered. I suddenly felt strong. Stronger than I had felt in years.

Hannah's POV

I looked down at the necklace. I sighed.

"Zoey, do you remember when we got these?" I asked looking intently at my friend.

"Of cousre I do. Do you?" she asked. I nodded.

"Remember that song we used to sing?" I asked putting my eyes back on the necklace.

"Yea." Zoey said staring into space, apparently lost in memory.

"I'm blindfolded on this crazy ride that is called life." I sang. To my suprise both mine and Zoey's necklace had started glowing. Then Zoey voiced my thoughts.

"I wonder id Kim's necklace is doing the same as ours."

"Yea..." I said drifting off thoughtfuly. Then we hreard Kim's voice comeing out of our necklaces.

"This is....well...I had no idea that would happen." I said truthfuly.

"Me niether." She said. "I hope that Kim is still ok."

"Me too. And I know that this is silly, but I feel stronger." I said astonded.

"I know. Me too. I wonder if Kim is to."

"Well I don't now if she is. But at least we know that she is alright." I said. Zoey nodded in agreement. We smiled weakly. And I was pleased.

I was literally crying a bit. I'm sorry for that song. I was writing this infront of a movie that my cousin was watching so... Sorry.
