Hello my loyal readers. Who is ready for another chapter? I know I am. So let's get to it.

Rowan's POV

I climbed along the window sills and back to my room. It was a chilly night, and I didn't bring a cloak. I put my foot down and slipped. I fell off and barely managed to hold on. I looked down and saw that, to my luck, no guards were this close to the castle.

I tried to pull myself back onto the ledge, but to no avail. My hands were numb with cold and it was getting harder and harder to hold on.

I saw a shadow come across one of the windows. It looked like they were seaching for something...me. They opened the window and I saw a guards face peek out of it. I held my breath, hoping that they couldn't see me. They closed the window and I let out a deep breath.

I needed to do something. I didn't want to be on this window sill forever. I had an idea. I shuffled my hands so that there was a balcony underneath me. I know that this sounds crazy, but I let go.

I landed hard on the balcony and felt a sharp pain in my ankle. I ignored it for now and looked around. The light in the room beyond the balcony was on. My luck didn't continue. I hurried to the railing and climbed on it, out of sight.

I let out a deep breath and jumped onto another balcony. I continued to parkour the building and finally got to a giant window that was in the throne room. I peeked though the window and saw Akio leaving.

I quickly climbed into the throne room and looked around. There wasn't a guard that could see me. I ran quickly to a door that would get me to my friends.

I ran down the stairs and arrived at the door. I opened it silently and walked inside.

Duncan's POV

I was sitting, my back against the cold stone of the dungeon walls. I heard a voice call out,

"Guy's, hello." I looked up and saw Rowan walking over to our cells, keys in hand. I smiled and scrambled to my feet. Rowan unlocked all of the cell doors. We all stepped out.

"Rowan!" Kim yelled running out of her cell and almost suffocating Rowan in a hug of happiness.

"Get out of here." Rowan said using her magic to break a hole in the wall. She smiled and pointed to the hole.

"Rowan you go first." Martyn said stepping aside. I agreed with Martyn. Rowan should get out of here.

"I cannot. They shall come again and you shall be trapped. I will stay here." Rowan said looking down at her feet. I was stunned. Why would Rowan stay? I didn't get a chance to ask, for she ran letting us escape.

Martyn's POV

I saw Rowan run, leaving us forever. A tear slid down my cheek. I loved her and she left us to escape whilst she would be forced. I looked at the ground and saw a note.

Dear Martyn,

I am so sorry. You must go, go far far away from here. Make sure that Akio never finds you. I am doing this for you and I want you to forget all about me. This hurts for me to write, but you must forget. I don't know who I am, where I belong, or what I am doing. Please go. It is my last wish that will ever come true. I love you Martyn. And I always will.

Love, Rowan.

I looked up from the note and handed it to Duncan. Duncan read it and looked up. He looked at me with sympathy. He handed it to Kim and Rythian and everyone really. They all told me words of comfort. Then we all climbed out of the hole in the wall, to 'freedom'.

I knew that I would never be free, not until Rowan was and we were together. Seeing that note made my heart feel like it had been ripped from my chest. I loved her, she loved me, and she told me ot forget her.

I could never forget her, not when she gave me so much to remember.

Awwwwwwwww! *Cue Simon squel*
