Prolouge

Authors Note: Hey guys! This is my first type of fan fiction like this so it might be a bit bad. I hope you like it though!

Kim's POV

I was falling, and falling. This is the end Kim I thought to myself As soon as I hit the ground I will die. I saw the ground drawing nearer and nearer I closed my eyes ready of the crash but instead of hard ground, I hit water. Then I passed out.

Duncan's POV

I was just out in my courtyard when a girl fell from the sky and landed in my fountain. I ran towards the fountain and saw that her eyes were closed. She had passed out.

I picked her up bridal style and as I carried her inside I couldn't help noticing that she was very pretty. She had long black hair with a red flower in it, and she wore a red dress that was flecked with a little dirt. Pft yeah and she was wet. Like just-got-out-of-the-pool-after-one-hour wet.

I placed the girl on a bed and started lightly shaking her shoulders, in an attempt to wake her up.

Kim's POV

I woke up to a boy shaking my shoulders. Groaning I opened my eyes brown eyes.

The boy who was shaking my shoulders had golden blond hair and sea blue eyes and was wearing a lab coat. When I opened my eyes the boy smiled.

"Uh, sorry, who are you?" I asked wanting to know who this strange man was.

"I was about to ask you the same thing." The mystery boy said with a laugh, "My name's Duncan."

"Kim." I said weakly, using my arms to prop myself up.

"So how did it happen?" Duncan asked. 

"You mean me getting blown into the sky?" I guessed, "Sips and Sjin blew me up, I was being their apprentice, and, as you can tell, it didn't work out well. Oh, and now I'm laying soaking wet on a bed."

No One's POV 

Kim and Duncan got to know each other a little better and Kim became Duncan's apprentice. All seemed well until one day, Duncan had been playing around with his portal gun. Kim was running away and Duncan chased her into the sphere of flux.

After that Duncan trapped Kim in the tower that he had given her. Kim finally escaped after 100 days. But that was long ago and Kim has long since forgiven him for that. Duncan also got effected by the flux but his flux wasn't nearly as bad as Kim's.
