Chapter 23

Poor poor Tiddles. All alone at Panda Labs. All alone. Oh and Rowan and Duncan and everyone else but...Tiddles.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I had a frozen on ice show I was in this weekend, so I couldn't update. And I had practices all week do not a lot of time to write. Sorry again!

Rowan's POV

I knew that I had guards ouside my window and door day at night. But I had a plan. All I had to do was get to the dungeons and let my friends be free.Then I could suck it up and accept my destiny. If only I knew what would happen. Where do I really belong? Will I ever know?

Duncan's POV

I have the worst luck ever. Ok Rowan does have a little worse luck, but still. You get the point. Very unlucky. I sat there in my cell. I needed a way to escape. Simon had been released, his family were !n outrage that he was a prisoner. And Akio didn't want trouble with the dwarfs.

I sat on the cold stone floor of the dungeon. I knew that there was no hope. But I just had the feeling that I should let events play out and that everything will be alright. I heard someone coming down the stairs and saw Akio stride into sight.

He sneered and went into the cell next to me which housed Sjin. I heard muffled words coming from Sjin's cell. I put my ear to the wall and heard.

"I want to help you. I know what you want. I want it too but with a different girl. I will help you, if you only give me the chance." came Sjin's voice from the cell. Then there was scilence, Akio seemed to be pondering the idea. Finally he said.

"I trust you. But if you have lied, your life shall not be spared." Then I saw Sjin and Akio walking out of the cell and up the stairs that lead out of the dungeon. I needed to tell everyone on our side. And that inculds Rowan. Which could be a problem.

"Kim, I have somthing important to tell you." I wispered through the bars of my cell. I saw Kim look up and say.

"What? Nothing could've happened...could it?"

"Well...Sjin joined Akio and left our side."

"What?! He didn't." Rythian burst out. He had been listening.

"He did. I heard him too." Lewis said.

"Was everyone eavesdropping on our conversation?" I said angrily. I sighed. It didn't really matter. At least we all knew. We all sat there in complete scilence.

"I wonder what Simon's doing." Hannah said in an attempt to breack the scilence. It didn't work. We still sat in scilence. Even though it was now thoughtful scilence.

Simon's POV

I was pacing in the jaffa factory. I needed a way to save my friends.

My parents had got me out. They were so mad, until I explained about the princess. Then they were ragging about Akio and Rowan's parents.

My brother was aloud to marry and do what ever he wished. As long as he stayed the king of the dwarfs. Rowan's parents, however, did not understand what Akio is like. Or they probably would not be forceing her to do this.

I needed a plan to get Rowan back where she belongs. I saw her on my way out of the castle. She looked confused, sad, and disappointed. She seemed to not be sure where she belonged. I needed a way to show her where she really belonged. As much as I hated doing this, I needed to research. And eat Jaffas. All of the jaffas. (hehe(::) hehe)

Rowan's POV

I don't know where I belong. Who am I? Who am I really? I know who I am in blood. But who am I at heart? I wish I could knok for sure, then I would go where I really belong.

I pushed these thoughts out of my mind, and turned to the more pressing matter. My friends. I needed to find a way to free them, or get them to free themselves.

I paced my bedroom, thinking. Akio must've heard me beacuse he soon came in the door.

"What is the problem Rowina?" He asked closing the door behind him. I couldn't take it anymore, seeing is face. He may have ruined my life, but to ruin the life of my friends. I can never forgive him for that.

I didn't know what made me do it. I turned around to face him and punched him as hard as I could. I drew back my arm and punched him again. This time he finally seemed to be catching on to what was happening. he left the room and closed the door behind him.

He deserved that. For everything. he deserved more than that. No one hurts my friends.

Yep. That was kinda just a filler chapter except for the whole Sjin-joining-Akio thing. He is so evil.
