Chapter 14

Duncan's POV

I carried Kim's limp, dead body bridal style through the forest back towards the yogs. We were all walking in complete scilence, dreading our loss. We went to save Kim, and she had been killed. Worst. Saving. Ever.

We walked towards my castle. And I spoke, brecking the scilence,

"We need to build her a temple. To show the upmost respect." The others just nodded sadly looking at Kim. I realised that I would never hear her laughter, her voice, and her teasing. I would never be able to see her eyes open at the break of dawn.

A single tear slid down my cheek and it feel onot Kim's face. I saw Hannah come up to me.

"She's in a better place now." She said putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked into Hannah's brave face, but when I looked into her eyes I saw a deep sadness.

"The temple needs to be made of diamond, gold, and quartz." Rythian said. We all agreed and we set off to colect the materials thjat we would need to build the temple.

"Wait. Can I change Kim's clothes into the kimono she usally wears?" Zoey asked looking towards what, for so long, had been Kim's tower. We all nodded in agreement and Zoey carried Kim's body to her tower.

~Time Skip To When The Temple Is Bulit.~

We lay Kim's body in the temple. We had told everyone what had happened. They were all devestated, Kim was such a nice and awesome girl.

Rythian lay down Kim's body on the bed like thing that would be where she wouls lay forever on. I closed my eyes, not bearing to look at Kim. But out of her memory, I opened them again. Hannah began to sing a song under her breath,

"I-I-I'm blindfold-d-ded on this craz-z-zy r-r-ride." But her voice was choked with tears. One of the tears fell onto Kim's face. Kim's eyes started to slowly open. She lifted her head and said.

"Keep trying to make it through that next turn knukles white and holing tight." Rythian, who had had his face buried in his hands, looked up. He hugged Kim whispering into her ear.

"What happened?" Kim asked looked confuseildy up at us. Rythian let go and explained. He told her all about being shot and, well everything taht happened during the fight.

"I died?" Kim asked confused. "I guess I must have. The last thing I remember is, an arrow in my heart. Then I wake up here."

"Well I'm glad that you are not dead." Lewis said.

"Me too. I don't know how I could've lived without you." I said.

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" Hannah said. She sounded so much like Simon.

"These necklaces must be magical. It saved my life. If Hannah hadent foud these stones, we would all be dead." Kim said looking gratefuly at Hannah.

"Kim, do you think that you can walk?" I asked her.

"I don't know." She replied, "Anyone here have any experiance dying?" She asked playfuly. Despite myself I cracked a huge smile. Kim swung her legs over the side of ,what I thought would be her final resting place, and stood up.

Smiling still, I looped my arm around hers and all of us walked to our houses.

"Duncan, can I ask you something?" Kim asked suddenly.

"You already have. You may, however, ask me one more thing." I said smiling (Harry Potter reference for those of you who didn't get that)

"Sjin called me a princess. And said that you had been protecting me. Do you know why?"

"I'm not sure I do Kim." I answered truthfuly, "I'm not sure I do." Kim nodded understandably. She looked confused and a little disappointed. I had to do something to lift her spirts.

"Race you!" I said running ahead of her.

"No fair." Kim complained playfuly running to catch up. Kim caught up with me and I scooped her up. We ran back to panda labs laughing and playing.

~Time Skip To A Week After Because I'm lazy~

I ran to Rytthian's house. I wanted to give him a little scare. Just for lulz.

"Rythian," I said, using my best scared and worried type of voice, "Sjin killed Kim and stole her body." I said.

"WHAT!?" Rythian shouted with rage.

"Kidding." I said, kim stepping out from behind me. Then we enjoyed the look on Rythian's face. Rythian yelled, and yelled. Kim just stood there crying with merth. (It's a word, google it) IN the end, Rythian agreed that it was kind of funny and let it go.
